Hi Ladies, I have a customer who has a toddler with eczema on his neck and chin. Has anyone used any of our products for eczema, and can they be used on a toddler??
I have emailed BC, and got back a list of products that would be recommended, but they didn't address the question about using it on a toddler, waiting to hear back again.
Thanks for your help!
Debbie

I would suggest Corticure. Works on my Daughter who until recently had horrible ezcema. I went between Eucerin's Aquafor and Corticure for 2 years. We are now noticing she is outgrowing it, just like the Doctor thought.
Hope that helps!

Jluia had neck, right under the chin, arms and legs ezcema. It started with the neck and chin area. So you may want to have your client watch out for excessive scratching in those areas too.

Yep, Corticure. I use this for my boys....my youngest is 4. My Director said it is safe for babies....you just have to be careful they don't get it in their mouths.

My son has it on his face pretty bad. I've had him start using the Corticure too, so far so good!

Definately the Corticure Lotion, I have had several clients who have used it on their babies for eczema and diaper rashes that were very persisitant and it always worked for them.
I have used it on my daughter, but my Husband has some eczema on his hand and he likes to use my skinlogics moisturizer.

just a side note, my son had severe infantile eczema... his allergist has told me that usually eczema is caused by a food allergy, my son broke out with horrible eczema while I was nursing him and we figured it out by elimination that he was sensitive to the diary that I was consuming. So yes, you can soothe with topical products, but to get to the root of the problem you may have to look at diet. Another thingI learned, that a big percentage of babies with eczema will develop asthma, I forget exactly what the number is, but remember it is high- maybe 75%?
