It seems like more people will be touched by reviews now. A smaller number of text answers, 200, will now trigger a review, which is also smaller in size by half. I hope this will improve quality for kgb_.

That's good. I think they need to do more reviews. I think they could improve their training to especially since they did away with shadowing. Over the last few days I have lost track of how many times I have seen customer complaints being rtq'ed instead of being sent to an op like they should

Oh I know. Every time I see them do it, I want to scream in chat that they need to go back to training because they don't know how to do their jobs.

Do they Email you when you have reviews wating? Or you just see it when you logged in under the Work tab?

I like how they went out of their way to let us know in that email that this doesn't mean there will be more reviews generated. This stood out to me. Like before when they lectured us about commenting on the lack of reviews. Easy for them to say, the higher ups get a steady pay for what they do. Less reviews for us = less money to be made, period. It DOES affect our pay. I wonder if this is a way to keep us making less & save the company $? The amount of Agents being reviewed is still an EXTREMELY small percentage (gone within an hour or 2 of being generated) so I figured it's kind of like them trying to keep the "No Charge" answers low. It saves them money.
So being a Quality Agent isn't all it's cracked up to be, since that was an added perk they toted around in the beginning.

We do need to remember that kgb_ is still running in the red. kgb_ is not making a profit at this time.

I actually like the smaller batch size generated in half the time. It allows for quicker reviews for the work force which improves the quality. I miss having reviews available all day long, but it helps balance the text requirements we in QA have. We need to remember that this is a texting company not a review company. Texts will always come first.

QAs have to take a mandatory amount of texts each month regardless & always drop doing reviews when Ops announce they need texts answered during surges. That's why I said "perk".

It's not a review company, but I'm sure it's a company that prides themselves on quality which is why there are QAs to help with this.

I like the smaller batches too but the new changes really did nothing much, an extremely low amount of Agents are being reviewed daily. I guarantee there won't be an improvement in overall quality of answers since the vast majority of Agents are simply not getting reviewed. I think the company is shooting themselves in the foot with this in the long run... just my opinion.

I agree that there are a small amount of agents being reviewed. I rarely get reviews, and I hear many other agents are in the same boat. It's unfortunate because many people claim that they do not know if they are doing good or bad because they are not receiving reviews. In addition, I think that the whole "top cherry" contest should stop because everyone is not receiving the same amount of reviews, if any. (it was stated in an email that less experienced agents are going to be reviewed more than seasoned agents) So that means that everyone is not getting the same opportunity to "win".

I also agree that kgb_ is still "in the red". We have spent an undisclosed amount of money on advertising to gain more customers, and this is the reason for the need to save money. We just have to be patient because kgb_ has to make a profit before it can even consider giving us pay raises, more reviews, promotions, etc. Eventually things should get better for the company :)
