Did anyone else with LF get an email today? Can't go into detail due to NDA, but it's not one of the usual messages. Just curious if it was something they were telling everyone or if they're talking to me specifically. It seems more general, but I'm kind of concerned.

Did anyone else with LF get an email today?... Yup, I got it. I was actually glad to see it if a little surprised. Yesterday I saw someone get pretty snarky toward someone else and was a bit startled by it 'cause it was rather overt. Even more startled to see the task taken down almost immediately. I wondered then if it was because of that, and now wonder if this email might be in response to that. If so I think it's warranted and hope it's heeded. Don't know if you're referring to the same situation or not DC, but I'd say for now it's just a general message. I'd think if they wanted to target any individual, they would do so by private email.

Phew...I will breathe easier now :) Yes, I'm pretty sure we're talking about the same thing.

EDIT: Oops...probably not being clear. I didn't see that specific situation you're talking about, but I am glad they seem to be addressing it! I was just nervous because I have a few just sitting there...but I have done what I can on them, so I guess I have nothing to worry about.

I got it too and was also thinking if it was "just for me" or all. I ran into some very opinionated people over the weekend and am glad they sent that message today.

I have had some of those things sitting (inactive) for quite a while. After receiving the email I checked them and lo-and-behold, a couple were active.

One of the Mod tips was very un-informative though.

I also got it and was very thankful.... I cannot understand why it is necessary to be snippidy with another person when posting but I have seen it several times :-(

I had a situation where an individual made it quite clear they had no intentions of contributing again (Good Grief!!) myself and another were the only ones in attendance for 3 weeks! It was HL'd and still nothing .... It finally left the building yesterday :-)

I had never experienced the curtness until about a month ago - I guess it had gotten out of hand - I'm glad that it was addressed but rather saddened that it was necessary to do so.

For the most part I've been rather fortunate, but I've had a couple negative experiences as well. It's really foolish for people to be so nasty. I guess they don't value their jobs. It seems like some people get so overconfident that they think they can say anything.

Thats crazy! I just started on Thursday and havent seen anything like that and never got that email.
