Hello! I am thinking about joining CloudCrowd but wanted to know if it was possible to make $8-$10/hr? I am just learning about this program and pay is important to my family and I right now since our second child is due in 5 weeks and hubby took a pay cut with his new job (after losing his other job over the summer).

I do MT and GT right now but always looking for a good opportunity.

Thanks!

Currently they are working through some system issues and they are limiting the available work - so no it's not capable of making you $8-10 an hour BUT once they get things worked out and the work flows freely, there will be the potential to earn a decent amount again.

I averaged about $10 an hour. It's definitely worth doing, in my opinion, when there's work. However, I would not count on it as something stable. There is not any steady work and many of us have been suspended for reasons that we don't really understand.

I agree. I wouldn't count on it as a real job, but the work was steady before they realized that people were cheating the system and that their system had bugs that were negatively effecting the users/work as well.

Since then it's been far more limited, but it's expected to go back to normal eventually... no idea when though.

Oops! MT is medical transcription and GT is general transcription. :)

I might look into signing up with them with the suspension is over then. I hope it ends soon!

what makes a person get suspended?

They have a thing called credibility rating which is based on your ability to do a task correctly. If you have too many mistakes, they put you on probation, it's when your credibility goes down to 29 i believe, which happened to me once, and if it goes down further they will suspend you. Luckily I got my rating back up by being very careful about following directions and only taking on tasks I was sure I could do with confidence. It can be very easy to get suspended as many have found out.

Some scam artists had created bots which screwed up the system and may have suspended a lot of good people erroneously, so I hope once they get rid of the scammers, they will give the honest people a second chance.

Right now the work at CloudCrowd is very scarce, but that should be changing shortly, I like the fact you get paid daily. I just signed up with MTURK also and they have lots of jobs to complete, I really like mturk also.

I have about four eggs in my basket, one heavy-hitter doing sales from home and 3 little eggs! About all I can handle right now.

Best wishes!

Just signed up with CloudCrowd yesterday and have already made $30... but I think it's going to take more time on there for me to get high up there. I work for W**t and also trying to get on with Al*ine, so it's just another little egg to add to the basket. I like the fact that you get paid DAILY!

I am considering Al**ne myself ... I like that you are an employee verses an IC.
But, what is this CloudCrowd thing you guys are talking about?? And, you actually get paid daily?? That's appealing! I was thinking about Clo*d(ten) - they only hire as IC, but seem to have more flexibility in hours ... this isn't the same as clowdcrowd that u guys r referring too, is it?

I need something with a real paycheck, but flexible hours. I also prefer being an actual employee. Any suggestions?? Someone mentioned writing, but what's a legit place to write for, and how's the pay?

HELP!!

CloudCrowd is actually a company that provides work through a Facebook application. They pay daily via PayPal, and the work varies, most of it pretty simple like categorizing websites. There's a referral link in my signature. I don't do it a ton, but it's nice for when I'm killing time on Facebook. Better to get paid than to waste time playing games!
