View Full Version : Quality Agent concerns

I'm reading through this board seeing Agents comment on their lack of feedback. Getting feedback helped me improve enough to get a promotion.

How many agents complete 400 texts in a month? They had to reduce the minimum monthly requirement to 8 hours a month not too long ago. So how does it make sense that Agents only get feedback now every 400 texts?

I really wish Quality Agents had a mentor who was previous a Quality Agent so they know where we're coming from because no one is listening to us right now. Our higher ups seem more concerned about having no backlog than quality control. I know the backlog was getting big but they set the amount of batches generated to be so low that there's only 40-60 minutes worth of reviews created a day. Not to mention we made a truckload of changes to accommodate it (more reviewers, canned responses, special login, come on!). Comments regarding this concern were even ignored during the "Chat With The Chief". It's a shame that the majority of the small batches we do get to help out with are poor quality which puts all of our jobs in jeopardy. I am sorry, I wanted to just keep cool & hope for the best but this has been bugging me all month.

Why is no one listening to us?

Honestly I do at least 700 messages in one week. And with new agents coming in constantly, quality has drop badly. They need to stop hiring and do more reviews because that is how I know I am doing good. Yeah making $300 a month is nice but I don't like worrying that I am doing a bad job. I'm lucky, I tend to get a review on a time (usually every 400-700 reviews). They need to get rid of the gamers so that the agents that do a good job can make more money. I don't know why the company hasn't been listening and hopefully it will end soon (not the company).

That's exaclty how I feel. I'm a new agent (this is my first month) and I do take it very seriously. I enjoy doing it and am hoping to make some extra money. I'm nervous that I'm suddenly going to lose my job without ever knowing there was a problem though.

I try to use the database when I can (I don't want them to think I'm just trying to make the extra .5 cents) but the sources are often poor or the answer is inaccurate.

I appreciate that I have the freedom to not be micro-managed, but at the same time, I wish I knew if I was doing a good job. I hate to fail and I would hate to be unknowlingly contributing to the problem.

I wish I knew. :( I have been a SA since Jan and a QA since March.

I usually am able to answer 500 ish texts within my work schedule. Before QA had a quota of texts they had to do, I would switch between reviews and texts to keep my skills sharp.

I wish we had mentoring shifts. I would be happy to help SA or QA. I wish we were still allowed to answer back to reviews. Sometimes I feel as if the ops are too busy to answer their questions. I never minded helping my fellow agents.

Correcting a poor answer will not get you in trouble. If you are concerned leave a note in comments about why you changed the answer. Pantsify the poor answers. If we all do this the database will be cleaner.

A little off topic, but how can yo ube a gamer on here? I hear this alot and don't get it? I mean you have to answer the question, so how do you "game" the question, other than giving a totally wrong answer. I use the database when I can, becuase lets face it, we are here to make moeny so the faster we go the better, but I usually try to add to that answer if I can. And some questions are just in a subject I have no clue about, so finding an answer in the database and looking at it's source still doesn't give me any more knowledge on the subject. I also clarify any question that doesn't make sense...which seem to be alot lately. I hope thats not considered gaming, but some questions are spelled so poorly I don;t have a clue what they are even trying to ask.

When agent game the system they use database answers only and 99% of the time, the answer doesnt have anything to do with the question. Just because the database pulls up those answers, doesn't mean they work for that question. 95% of the time I look for my own answers (not to make extra money but because after looking through the DB for a minute and pantsing around 30 question/answers, I get tired.) I only use the DB really for relationship questions and sex questions.
