Hello everyone,

Would you please keep my Director, friend and mentor in your prayers tonight? I do not wish to go into detail, but she had a horrific event happen in her family today.http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley11.gif

Thanks for asking! I actually have had a bad week here! I woke up last Monday and couldn't walk - the pain from my lower back into my legs was unbearable! smileys/smiley19.gifMy husband brought me to the ER and they did an MRI and I have 3 bulging discs with degenerative damage. They sent me home on muscle relaxers, steroids, and painkillers. I went in on Thursday for an epidural spinal steroid injection and go to see an orthopedic spine surgeon tomorrow.

SOOOO....needless to say, I haven't done much this week! BUT ~ I have been able to be on the laptop a lot and have done a lot with my BeautiControl site and getting everything in order. I got a spa booked and am planning on setting up a table at Curves next Saturday to demo items, recruit, and hopefully get more spas!smileys/smiley9.gifI'm excited about the new BeautiBistro line and the recruiting special so hopefully I can put my down time to good use!

Ouch! I have been thru the epidural it is called a nerve block. I have RSD (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy) which is in remission. However, when the did the nerve block, they screwed up. So I understand your back pain!!! The jelly part protecting my disc gets dislodged every now and again causing great discomfort. Those muscle relaxers are great!!!http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif Sorry you have to suffer...http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley19.gif Try to see if there is something else beside surgery they can do for you first.

Keep a positive mental attitude! It does help when going thru a lot of pain. Look for the Relax biofeedback script. That also helps with pain. PM me any time.

Good luck with your table and your spa party!

Thanks!!smileys/smiley9.gifIt was so frustrating because my husband had the same exact symptoms in September - went in and he had a herniated disc sitting on his sciatic nerve. They did surgery and he had immediate relief. For me, it's a different diagnosis so for that part it was disappointing....but oh well! I work as a nurse full time and don't usually have the time I need to devote to BC so like I said, the downtime has been kind of nice!smileys/smiley1.gifThanks again for the words of encouragement!
