Has anyone done mystery shopping before? I was wondering if I should give it a try. Also, one of the companies I wanted to apply for is asking for my social. It says if they don't have it they can't pay me. What should I do?

I'd research the company online, maybe do a google search and see what you can find out. You may also want to mention the specific name of the company here. Maybe some other forum members have experience with that company and can tell you more. Try and make sure it's legit before giving out your SS#.

I have once tried MS and had fun. The company was legit but although wish they had paid me for doing the task and not just reimburse me. When I have the money to open the account at Chase, then I will let the company know to start me working on doing the shop.
There are more legit ones but yeah. Do your research before you decide to work with one.
Bestmark.com was the one I once did one. And because of them, I found out about World Wrapps. I love their stuff.
