If you return a product to a consultant, isn't the consultant responsible for giving the refund? Thanks in advance

That is usually the easiest and fastest way to do it, but I didn't realize this with the first few returns I had (I didn't have much practice since I haven't had many returns). Usually I choose to return the product and refund the customer and then I get the refund from the company. However, the consultant choose to have the company directly refund the customer, but this does take longer.
Hope that helps to answer your question. You could contact your consultant and let her know that you would prefer she refund you directly if it isn't too late (if she already has it coming to you from the company). Good luck with your return.

Thanks so much. I think she is finally going to send me a check. I've just never dealt with this from a direct sales company before. I just took the product and dropped it off at her sponsor's house since it seemed to be so difficult for us to get together. I do appreciate the response.

You're welcome, and I am glad that your refund is coming. I did think later that maybe she had to wait for the company refund if she couldn't afford to give you the refund, depending on how much is was.
