Anyone ever have any luck doing this? I am pretty successful in my jewelry business, but I sometimes run into customers who dont wear fashion jewelry, I have been thinking of adding candles to my business for some time now... I always tell my downline not to do more then 1 business to be really succesful unless you can spend a good time on both companies. Im not looking to recruit in the candle biz so I think I could do both... Im kinda scared, what do you all think? Im wanting to get signed up by next week as theres TON of craft shows I could set the candles up to in a booth next to my jewelry business. Any imput would be helpful
PS
Thank you to everyone who sent me info on there business oppertunity, my husband and I are still going over all the companies

I did.. LOL.. Though I stopped selling jewelry because I LOVE Candles a little more..
You could set up a table like you said with jewelry/candles.. These are to HOT sellers as you know.. When doing a Jewelry Party have a nice candle burning & with a Candle Party make sure you wear a WOW piece of jewelry & have things ready if someone is interested in learning more.. It can be fun/easy just depends on how you work them both...
Soylicious is a brand new company where you just pay $29.95 a month for your Scent Of The Month which includes:
One 11 oz Candle
One 20 oz Candle
One Chunk Tart
One Room Spray
FREE WEBSITE with 40% discount/commission..
If you would like more information please PM me..
Best of Luck. YES you can do both & have fun doing so... ;)

Candle products are easy to implement into other businesses and make a few sales. Be wary though because some do not allow you to sell both at the same time.
Some ways to cross-market would be to have a candle or a warmer going at a jewelry party, be wearing your jewelry when having a candle party. I don't know much about Cookie Lee but a lot of jewelry companies don't allow you to sell off the table at events, but candle companies do.
It is definitely a juggling act balancing two companies but once you get the motion going in the right direction, it comes naturally :)

Hi Amber!
I really have not sold anything but candles but I think that both Jewerly and Candles are very doable. Like with any business it's just putting in the time. And really what women doesn't like both...LOL.
You know the good thing with SoyLicious.com it that you can sign-up for only 29.95 + shipping, you'll get a variety of products to try out and see how it goes. I did this and I'm still here. :)
Just think about it, research it and go for it. You won't regret....Oh and don't forget to let us know.
If you need more info just pm me and I will be glad a answer any other questions you have.

I frequent our local flea market and I see people selling jewelry and candles and other things as well.
Like the ladies above said - it is all in how you present it and how well you integrate the two. Diversity is a key in entrepreneurship - just look at Wal-Mart. They carry everything and thus the reason most people go there for their shopping :)
