I'm just signing up in a couple days, and having my debut party the 7th, but i was wondering if there was anywhere i could actually promote my business. I've been getting the word around to other moms who have been talking about getting into a WAH postion, but I'm not sure where to promote, besides in person.

Well I don't sell Mary Kay but have you thought about the following marketing ideas:

Own Website to Promote MK
Listing Your MK Website on Social Networks ie Facebook
Door Hangers
Craigslist
Free Classified Ads

This site is very cheap door hangers that they can custom make for you: Door Hanger - GotPrint (http://gotprint.net/g/uploadDoorHanger.do)

Just some ideas. Hope they are helpful.

Those are all wonderful, cretive, effective ideas.. owever, Mary Kay corporate has many limitations onuse of the word Mary Kay. The above ideas, for the most part, are against our contract.
