My friend is trying to get me started w/ this company. My concern is that I'm a militarywifestationed in Germany. Any thoughts on whether this would be a problem. I can be mailed products to an APO address that is normal US postage.

Also what is your all opinion of the business was it easy to do.

Thanks

Heidi

Heidi,

What a great name to have in Germany!smileys/smiley2.gifPeople always ask me if I'm named after the "movie". My grandmother was very German, and Heidi is a German/Swiss name. That's how I got my name.Anyway, as a military wife, this would be a great opportunity. People would LOVE these productsover there! You should go for it. It is a great second income. Besides, you will meet so many new people!smileys/smiley32.gif

good luck, Heidi

hello! I am prior military and dh is retired. What part of Germany? I lived in Kitzingen for 3 years, near Wurzburg. My oldest brother lives in Holland, in Brunsuum. Love it there! I was not in direct sales when I lived there, so I don't know a whole lot about it. But what I do know is that any US post/base is considered American soil (off post US housing may even be) and you are correct, products can be shipped to APO addresses. If you've been in the military family for awhile, you'll have friends all over the states. One of the great things about our company is that there are no territories and so you can have clients and team membersall over the US and Canada, from one corner to the other. As for conducting presentationson post/base overseas I'm not sure about the logistics of that- you'll have to ask_here. (http://www.arbonne.com/icOnline/csContact/contact.asp?conType=combo)

Hi Heidi~

We do ship to APO boxes so that shouldn't bea problem. I think that you should go for it! I have found that the products really do sell themselves...I'm not much of a sales-person so that is really nice for me! :D

Everyone here would love to help you out and encourage you to be successful. Let us know what you decide.

Thanks for your input. I've been doing some online research and read a thread last night that took about 4 hours about pros and cons of Arbonne. You all should look at if you haven't itwas very entertaining. Just make sure you have a lot of time.

My friend is sending me some samples, she just started in thecompany too. So first I want to make sure I like the products. Although almost every review I've found on line says the products are great, even the people that didn't like selling loved the products. Anyway I'm not a sales person either or a big pressuring person, so the products will have to sell themselves. The good thing for me is I plan on taking it slow, I don't have to have the money it is just extra for us so that relieves the pressure.

Oh I'm in Bitburg/Spangdahlem, about 30min from Trier. It is beautiful here lots of snow this week. And my parents were stationed here before I was born, I assume that is where they got my name from.

any advice you all have or encouragment is greatly appreciated. My sponsor, if I sign on, will be in Las Vegas. I don't know hardly anyone here yet or anyone who sales this product!

Thanks Heidi

Opening a consultant account gives you an automatic 35%-80% discount so you save when you shop at your own store. If you choose to build a biz, you get out of it what you put into it. It is not a get rich quick scheme so it is going to take work. Iwas the owner of astore in my prior work life. It took much, much more work and I definitely did not have the benefits that are available with my Arbonne business. Any time you start a new endeavor, there is much work equity that you invest in your biz to get it up & running. If you are committed and willing to invest your time & energy, this opportunity can offer whatever payoff you are looking for. Different people are looking for different things. For some an extra $100-$500 a month is sufficient, others may seek a larger monthly paycheck (you can give yourself a raise whenever you like), for others it may be more time with their family, others want an outlet to help others, the list goes on & on.

Good luck with your decision!Edited by: Kiana's Mom

Yes, I've heard of Joel Comm. He is an internet marketing guru. He did sign up to be a consultant with our company, but had problems with the limitations of internet marketing, which is his specialty. As Rita Davenport says, this is a belly to belly business, and Joel is nota master of belly to belly marketing, he'sa master of internet marketing, lol. I just took notice to a post in another folder about Joel...
