Hi,
I took the simulation today and after a couple of minutes, I received an email to review my feedback. On the top of the feedback, it says "This was a satisfactory bunch of answers" and then it lists each question, my answer and feedback. Does "This was a satisfactory bunch of answers" mean that I passed?
Thanks!

I wouldn't call it "passing" or "failing". People either do so terrible that kgb_ doesn't hire then, do so well that they automatically start shadowing as an agent, or fall in the middle and are asked to do more training.
My Sim reults came back similar to yours and I got an E-mail the next day to start Shadowing. Most likely, shadowing will be your next step.

This was a satisfactory bunch of answers, means the person who graded your sim test thinks you have what it takes to be a kgb_ agent. It then gets forwarded to the powers that be that decide if they agree. One of three things will happen: 1. You will be accepted and you fill out paperwork then start shadowing. 2. You will be asked to take another sim test. This happens if they see potental, but you may not yet have all the training down. Missing disclaimers could be one cause of repeating the sim. 3. You won't be hired right now. If you have a good review I wouldn't worry about this one. :)
I hope to hear your good news soon.

Mine said the same thing, and underneath the person who reviewed it said my answers were excellent overall. Though I did reuse one answer from the database because I thought we were supposed to and that counted against me.

If the database answer you chose did not fit within kgb_standards it can be marked down. It is our responsibility to double check the database answers for character counts, grammar, making sure it actually answers the asked question and source.
kgb_ is aware of bad answers in the database. This is why there is a pantsify button. All agents can use this to help get rid of bad answers. In our last meeting with the Chief there was some discussion about cleaning up the database.

What is the deal with all the answers that could definitely be within the 102 characters but are all over the place in count usually 120-140 and these are recent answers did anyone read where they ask to keep it under 102 if possible. And the bad sources lately Oh MY!!

Yeah, I dont' understand all of the long responses either. It seems very few are 102 & most sources are wiki. Its so annoying.

I'm with you on that Krazy! Google.com and Amazon.com are not proper sources (unless it actually links to something like a book review or defining a word or equations or conversions.) We are supposed to link the exact page it was found on.... not the website homepage...
As for the database answers that are 120-140 characters, what I do is shorten them the best I can and then explain in the comment box why I shortened. A lot of the answers that are over 102 tend to have, "Ask us anything" or "KGB........." and once I take that out, it's 102 or under!
Sorry if this sounds like a rant, I guess I just kept all of this in to long.. :o

All we can hope for is that kgb_ decides to pull review batches more often so that QA can catch all of the bad lengths and poor sources. It makes me sad being an agent, since Jan 2009 when we opened here in the States, seeing quality decline.

I started as an agent at the beginning of this month. I've sent around 300 answers but I've never been reviewed. I wish they'd review me already! I think I'm doing a good job, but without a review, who knows!

QA has stated that review batches don't get generated until the agent has completed 400 texts. I think that is too many. Did you get shadowing reviews?

Wow! 400? Really?? That's about $40 of work. Some people don't work that much in a month, so they don't get to 400. I agree...that is too many.

hehe, for some agents they make several hundred dollars in a month so those batches of reviews build up quickly

No, The sim is not too difficult. You do need to know the protocols kgb_ expects all of us to use. Give quality answers. Don't stress about the time it takes to answer the sim is not timed. Good luck!
