Thinking of using Etsy to sell some stuff. Do you like it? Just wanted some input as I currently sell vintage clothes on Ebay but fees are getting high. Thanks!

Hi Ncgirl,
I've never used Etsy but have heard of it. If I remember correctly, it's more geared to homemade/handmade items, I don't know. I do use Bonanzle and iOffer. Bonanzle is super easy to set up and there are no listing fees, just final sale fees (which see lower than ebay). I like both of these sites, but they sure don't have the traffic yet that ebay does... I agree, though, ebay's fees are just ridiculous!

I Love ETSY! I sell both handmade and vintage there.
My handmade store is Little Scotia Dolls and Dollhouse Miniatures by LittleScotia (http://www.littlescotia.com)
my vintage store is wwwVintageWitchcom by AVintageWitch on Etsy (http://www.vintagewitch.com)
they both forward to my etsy store.
The fees are VERY low and very reasonable, they have a whole community there, who understand and appreciate the value of hand made and vintage, and I find it really easy to use. I was going to set up my own webstore, and figured with the time and effort I'd have to put into it, it would end up being MORE expensive than just letting etsy BE my store.
It's a really wonderful community, too.
