Hi guys! I finally grabbed a few of the jobs out there for this fall winter season! :D
I must tell you some of them I applied for and waited since last season, so don’t fret if your patient it will all come around to you.
But Working Sol is the one I like the best. They are nice people and have paid training and very flexible schedules. No Credit Checks, No start up costs (beyond your phone and puter etc.) and they pay direct deposit too!
I signed up on their website and then received an email in about three days to go through "Hire point" and do the online interview. The modules are very easy and are simply to run through how to help a customer with their billing issues. There isn't any up selling but you do have to talk professionally and clearly. :)
After the online modules I received another email for a phone interview and that was held in another three to four days. I spoke to them about my resume and job experience and why I wanted to work from home. They asked me to describe my office environment and that was it!
Two days later I received an offer via e-mail, for permanent work full time $10.00 an hour. They had several offers available in the email for you to choose from and the contracts they have that you work with are with some affluent companies worldwide.:p
Training is about three weeks long and is in my home on my computer and it is paid learning. I start my regular assignment on Nov. 2, 2009. I was told they wouldn't be accepting anymore applications after that!
So good luck to you all go get hired!

hello i just got a email from working solutions asking me to sign up for an interview but when i look on their website i see that they hire independant contractors is this true i saw that you are making $10.00 how is that? also i thought if you are employed as a independant contractor there is no paid training i really need to know because i have a offer from cloud 10.

In most cases, your contractor will not pay you while you're not working. If you've been a good worker (on-time, reliable, co complaints, etc), then your contractor will probably find you a new position providing they have something in your line of work.

I applied for this company in October of 08, then received my "Final Step" email a few days later. After that, I never heard anything again. I actually completely forgot about them until I just received an email from them with the subject of "Update." I got kind of excited when I remembered who they were, but I opened it and it's nothing, really.
Oh well, I'll just keep waiting, I guess. I updated my resume, so maybe that will help.

Hi there. Newbie here. I applied with WS in March of 2007! I just got the email last week and had a phone interview the next day. I got an email yesterday saying Congratulations..that I have passed all phases and to wait until they find a job that fits me. So Im not sure if I have another few years of waiting or if Im in...Searching more info on this company led me to this site but still dont really know much :)

Today I had my phone interview with Working Sol, I think it went well. The gentleman that interviewed me stated they were adding new clients. Being that I have had travel/hospitality experience, they seem to have several projects that service that area. I do hope to hear from them soon. The man told me that they do pay for training as long as you work 40 hours after you're done with training. That sounds fair, considering that I have been an IC for over 6 years and the projects I have trained for, don't pay for training. You have to go through the whole course and in hopes you pass the certification with the mock or live calls, before you have a contract with the project you are going to service.
Here is a link on some media coverage that they have been around since 1996, it's worth checking it out. Working Solutions - News Coverage (http://www.workingsolutions.com/news/coverage/?ref=agent) and here is their website: www.workingsolutions.com... and a commercial they made that was on youtube: Working Solutions - WS iNet Commercial (http://www.workingsolutions.com/news/commercial.aspx?ref=agent)
Good luck to you all, in finding what makes you happy "working at home"!
