Hello...I am considering becoming a Longaberger consultant and would appreciate any information anyone could provide about their experience with the company. I work part-time and have 2 little ones. I am not trying to start a new career or anything like that, I just really like the products Longaberger offers and I guess this would be a good excuse to get more "stuff" - Ha!I just really don't see myself pressuring people to host shows or buy from me. This is why I've avoided some direct sales shows I've been invited to. If anyone has had experience working with Longaberger, I'd really appreciate your input. Thanks!

Hi!
If no one has contacted you yet, let me know. I used to be a LB consultant and I would love to put you in contact with my former Branch Leader. She's a company top seller and does understand the "hobby consultant" thing as she has several in her branch. And she lives just a couple hours from "Basket Land" smileys/smiley36.gif

Hi Andrea,
I don't have any personal experience with Longaberger, but a business acquaintance of mine has been a "personal use" consultant with Longaberger for quite some time. She gives her consultant discount to family and friends in order to rack up "free stuff" for herself. She'd be able to give you the skinny onit from ahobbyist's perspective. I'd be happy to put you in touch with her if you're interested.
Be forewarned, though... she also reps for a couple of other companies that she DOES do for a career, and she can get pretty pushy about those companies. I can't promise that she wouldn't try to talk you into signing up for one of those. But if you make it clear from the start that you're ONLY interested in Longaberger, she would probably reign herself in. smileys/smiley1.gif
Blessings,
Christy

Hi Andrea,
I don't have experience working with Longaberger, but they certainly are good looking bags!! (smile)
One thing about Direct Sale is when you enjoy so much of the products, you don't even have to "sell" people, they will just come to you and ask. Besides, when you love them so much and KNOW they are great, you will want to share with friends and family---like when you see a great movie, or read a good book. You cannot help it to share!!!!
Enjoy your baskets!!!
