In the announcement about scorning cards the other day, it brought to my attention something that i might be doing wrong. I wasn't really aware that the higher-power of the kgb could track who returned to the que ( the email mentioned how they check how often questions are returned). Ever since, i've been really caucious to stop doing it so much and I realized how addicted to using it i was. a question that would take me more thanabout 2 minutes to work on, i'd drop off in the que. am i likely to have a chance of being fired right now?
by the way, how can i tell if i am still a shaddowee or if i am a full-fledged agent?
thanks

They'll send you an Email if once you become a full fledged agent.
As far as returning to the queue...you're not supposed to do that. You're supposed to ask for help in the chatroom if you cannot find an answer.
I was getting so annoyed last night. It was pretty busy and half of the questions were ones that had been returned to the Queue. Its not fair for the other agents to have to spend extra time on the tough ones other agents send back while they breeze though all of the easy ones. If you're still a shadowee they might just remind you that you're not supposed to do that. If you're already an agent, I'm not sure if they'd send a warning or what they would do. I would assume they'd give out a warning before just firing someone.

that kinda sucks for me because pay was really starting to pick up once I "changed methods" (i.e. stopped asking for help and just returned to the queue). i could barely reach 2 an hour with finding an answer for each question but when i started returning to the q i made like almost 3 (lol when i work for kgb i'm thrilled to be making 3 an hour). that being said, i agree how it's pretty unfair to return to queue while other agents are searching like crazy
That's pretty odd because I've been working for about 3 weeks now and I'm still not full-fledged.

Yes, you are never supposed to return to the Que unless the question is in a different language. Please be advised that others can see who returned an item to the que by licking the "i" next to the little pink box with your RTQ question, so they may snitch (I've seen one girl called out in the chatroom actually).
Dont worry about the shadowing thing, it took me over a month to become a full fledged agent.

Yeah that's kind of the point. SOMEONE has to look for the answers that you don't feel like looking for.
As far as becoming an agent, I think its just depends on who your reviewer is and how many questions you've answered. I did two shadowing shifts and got my full fledged agent Email, but it did say that it can take a couple weeks before you have enough questions answered. Maybe you just missed the Email though. Check in the pay reporter on kgb_. The pay reporter will show if your shift was a a "shadowee" shift or a normal one.

add me to the list that gets annoyed by it!
do I hate sometimes that a question may take me longer than 10 minutes to get a correct answer between different searches and working in chat?! you better believe it! but it is not fair to return to queue.
chat is a HUGE help!

You are NEVER allowed to return to Q unless you have had it OK'd or it's in Spanish. If you are not an agent and did it alot, you may not become one. Don't you read the chat box at all? They are constantly saying not to return to the que. It's basically not an option. I have answered so many q returns and found the answer in seconds. I wonder if they ever even look. We can see exactly who sneds them back. Some agents have called others out in the chat room, but we aren't allowed to do that either. But I tell you there are days I want to.
Also another pet peeve is when people put more, but don't have the "more" in the comment box..and then sometimes the link they gave is worthless.

Yeah, I saw that in that box and I don't do it anymore. I also hate it when someone leaves "more" with nothing in the comment box.
BTW, when is it appropriate to dismiss questions?

Dismiss questions when it's a thank you or a comment that does not contain a question. Comments with complaints get forwarded to ops via help.
