Do you ever send samples to prospective buyers or recruits? If so what do you send? Seems like it could get pricey if you send alot of the itsy bitsy candles...and we don't have votives anymore. Any suggestions?

Hi Belinda,

I do send itsy bitsies but I am going to start sending some of the cubes. What I am trying to find is some small circle candly molds that I can pour melted cubes into.

I think this will help with handing out smaller samples on brochures and biz cards too.

Hi Katie~ I have been using the candy molds lately. You can purchase them at craft stores like A.C. Moore, Michaels, or Hobby Lobby. They are very inexpensive and make a lot of samples.

I live in a small town and all we have is Walmart. I am going to a bigger city tomorrow and look for some. Because the soy wax is soft I am going to look for a simple mold like a circle. You just warm them in the warmer then pour them in.

It just depends on what size molds you purchase. I have a mold with small flowers . I have a mold with candy canes on the way. A fast way to get the wax to settle is to place them in the freezer. I burn them on the warmer and pour them in the mold and place them in the freezer for about 10 minutes and they are done. If you're using these to mail out, the molds won't hold unless you have a hard shell casing to put it in. Look online for 1/20 sample containers. They usually have a snap lid and are great for shipping. You can either melt the wax and pour it in the container or just put shavings off of a tart in it.
