Hello moms/dads/students. Would love to get a job in photography. I have a portfolio, and would love your opnions! DenebolaZenPhoto on deviantART (http://denebolazenphoto.deviantart.com) - I am wondering if anyone makes good money with stock photos? How about event photography or anything else? I'm also looking for basically any type of work. Any suggestions for $0 start up costs? Thanks!

I hear you loud and clear. I do different kind of photography. I am more into editing photo's but to come by the work is so hard to do. I have had one job so far and she paid me 20 dollars but that was months ago. She told me she would have more work for me but no luck at all. I have even tried working by donations only if they like what I do for them they can make a small 2 dollar donation and still no takers. I hope you find something more then I could. I check these forums often but yet I have given up. I am having a baby next month and it's just so damn stressful trying to find a legitimate thing on here, I even thought bringing my photo skill set would higher my chances but it didn't. I feel lower then low because I couldn't afford anything for my baby but got lucky along the way. With neighbors going to jail who had babies and their stuff getting thrown out. Other then that all I need now is a floor heater because I still never made money for my gas bill. It gets frustrating because at one point I felt like I was on a roll, offer at offer and then the offers were scams or they went by hourly paid to commission based only. Other then that maybe craigslist will lend you more insight then it has me. I am just hoping you have a better backbone then I do. I might try again after I have the baby but who knows!
