Hi everyone!
Just wondering if you "seasoned" consultants repackage the candles before delivering them to your customers? The reason I ask is because I think the rest of our literature, catalog, etc are so well put together and just beautiful but the product packaging (boxes) leave a lot to be desired. I honestly would be embarrassed to give one of those cardboard boxes to a customer after they had seen the catalog. So, back to my original question -- do you leave them in the ugly cardboard box, take them out of the box or repack them into a nicer box? I was thinking of getting the plain white candle boxes and putting the FEH stickers on them.
Thanks for any input!

Hi Marilynn~ I agree with you about the boxes. I don't place my candles in a box. I deliver them in our shopping bag. It is a very nice bag with the company logo and cancer sign on the back. These go over very well and are reusable.

I just ordered a candle for a wedding gift for my neighbor and when I got it it was in a small plain cardboard box, no stuffing, the lid was off and it was rolling around inside and surprised it wasn't broken by the time it got to me. I had to put it in another pretty little wedding favor box with tissue for giving, and this is not the first time I have ordered from them and stuff came in plain, odd boxes. I think they are thinking "green" and must re-use/ recycle which is a good thing for the earth, however, some sort of packaging could be used and they could use recyclable materials with the logo so that we can give more of a crisp presentation for our customers.

I think the goal of FEH with the plain cardboard boxes is to get our products to us safely and not spend a ton of money doing, remember we are not paying for shipping on parties of $150.00 or more. I do take the candles out of the boxes and just deliver them in a gift bag, like Melissa mentioned. FEH is a "green company" and trys to recycle as much as they can. Since joining I have only had one broken candle and that was Fedex's fault, the whole corner of the box was smashed and FEH replaced it. I dont focus on how they arrive to me (as long as they are unbroken), I focus on how they look when I deliver them to my customer :o)
