Does anyone know anything about Princess House. My friend is hosting a party that she got pressured into after attending her mother-in-law's party. So far, I have been very *unimpressed* but that might be a function of the individual consultants' tactics. I was going to order something even though Icannot attend (I have a traveling vineyard wine tasting that night!) and when I went to their website, they do not display any of their prices (is this typical?) Anyhow, I got such a bad vibe from this consultant, that I wanted to hear what you knew about the company (and their prices, since I cannot view them!)smileys/smiley7.gif

Hi Lori- I gave a Princess House party years ago- and I started collecting their line of crystal. I have since then requested catalogs from this company & have never recieved a catalog not have I been put in touch with a Consultant from their company. As far as not marking the prices(if you click on the items you are interested in ordering - usually the price comes up for that item ) I don't know if you've tried that or not. But I haven't had real good success with them- as far as catalogs go.

I had a Princess House show when I was like 17 yrs. old and earned sooooo much stuff for free. I still have everything that I received and still use it. Anyway, I just did a jewelry show on saturday and one of the girls that attended was a Princess House consultant and I asked to see one of their books since it has been about 18 yrs. since my last show and I really liked what they have so I booked a show right there with her. I have a show on April 9th and I am actually pretty excited! The people I have mentioned it to about my party have been very receptive about it. They have said they always liked Princess House stuff. I'm sorry you are having a bad time with a particular consultant but the company itself seems to be very good.

I really like Princess House. I had a party about 6 years ago and was thinking about becoming a consultant. I have their mugs, roasting pan, vases, and ornaments. I think they are prices accordingly. It was real big when I had my party but I haven't heard about any parties where I live. However, it seems like noone knows about Silpada and there are about 50 reps in the WNY area.

I love princess house! I'm a consultant mostly for personal use. It most likely is the consultant being "pushy", at least in my area i've never had any problems, and I hosted multiply parties before sigining on. (Great host program). The prices might seem high, but the quality like everything else you pay what for what you get. They have a great replacement program too if you should break an item.

It is a pain that there is no prices on the site, if you have a question though I can get you the prices or answear them.

Hi Lori, I have many PH products and love them all!!! The company is fantastic and they have a great customer service. I signed up last year in May 05 (more so for personal shopping discount to start a dish ware collection), I decided to have aopen house and all of my friends were very impressed, that they have started collecting the pieces they love. Their hostess program is superb, replacement program, shipping, and support.

Unfortunately, some "consultants tactics" may not be up to par, but it surely should not reflect off on the company.

As far as prices, no, they are not on the site. You contact a consultant or the company for pricing.

Rosalee, I am curious as to how you were able to see the prices??? I did read your post, but I've never been able to see the pricesby clicking on the product.

All in all, great products, great companyand you can feel good about making a purchase with them.

I LOVE Princess House! I haven't seen a catalog in years either. I used to have shows every few weeks and earned sooooo much free crystal! My friends and I had all kinds of parties! The margarita ones were the most fun!

Also a big PH fan here. I know a local rep who is great. I thought the company had died off, until I did a show with her last year (a vendor fair).

I have lots of stuff from a couple of shows I held 15 or so years ago. It is beautiful stuff.

My mom used to sell PH when I was a kid. When she passed away in 2001, I finally relented and sold her collection in 2004. She loved it, I never really got into it. But I've heard they've expanded their line. It is typical for these types of businesses not to give their online prices because they are very pricey. If you'll notice, Creative Memories and some other direct-party sales sites don't give you prices either.

Princess House products are great. I love them and have them in my china closet. Their martini, wine & beverage glasses are beautiful and I love the fantasia designs.

Thanks for all your input, I got such a bad feeling from this particular consultant, which was made only worse when I couldn't view the prices online. I am glad to hear that the company is legit and that the consultant is probably just overzealous! I am probably one of the most low-key people in this type of business, and have a low threshold for high pressure sales tactics....

Thanks

Hello,

I am a Princess House consultant and have been for a while now.

I really LOVE the products and the company. The company does not allow prices on the website ...you must contact a PH consultant for this. This keeps us ladies busy with shows then. (which is great!!!)

Iam very sorry you had trouble with a consultant.Maybe she was having a bad day. Or was trying hard to acheive a goal. But anyway again I am sorry she was like this to you. Were Not all like that. PH is a wonderful company and I plan on staying with them for a very very Long time to come.

God Bless,
