Does DCD offer an alternative to Home Parties ?

I LOVE parties - but not everyone does.

I would think you could also sell DCD thru craft fairs, and direct sales to people like insurance agents, realtors, business owners, brides to be, etc.

Please share your thoughts - all comments welcome !!!

Not really. After all we are a party plan so that is the heart of the business.

We can of course sell individually to people who want the product. When it comes to craft fairs we have to purchase the product at the full retail price to sell it off of the table, otherwise we would need to collect the order.

We can do fundraisers, but there is no company sponsored program, it is up to each individual chocolatier on how they would like to run a fundraiser.

You can attend fairs, shows, do workshops for Junior Women's League...the opportunities are endless! Look to see if nearby towns have chocolate festivals. But keep in mind, this is just a good marketing/advertising/recruiting platform. And check to see if there are clubs in your area for moms, single women, girls night out, book clubs who would like something new and different. You will be surprised by how receptive people are to a Chocolate Party!
