Thanks,

I would be curious to see if anyone did as well. I couldn't see working 40hours a week for $100 but maybe it worked out for someone.

HVAC.com. It was advertised on CL Costa Rica and paid $100 US for a 45 hour workweek--fairly decent money in a country where the average monthly wage is about $500.

I want to mention that I remember this company advertising for ICs about 18 months ago. The company had a webinar for interested candidates.

The presentation was a trip--to put it mildly. I think one person tried the position. It was a pretty short-lived relationship from what I recall.

I'm sure it would probably work out for somebody, and we all have to remember that not everyone on WAHM is from the US or Canada, however....and I'm sure I will get flamed for saying this......I find it utterly disgusting that companies do feel it's okay to pay hard working people such a low wage. I for one am a virtual assistant, and I have given up on sites such as Guru and oDesk for the simple reason that I see US companies wanting to pay people $1 an hour, maybe sometimes $3 an hour for administrative work. This really burns my biscuits because I for one am struggling to get by because I have to work from home and companies would rather pay someone a lower wage because our economy sucks, however......they fail to realize that by paying low wages, and most of the time paying these low wages to workers in other countries, they are contributing to our economy being in the state it is in.

Okay, so now I have spoke my mind....... let the flaming begin. LOL.

It makes me wonder how much we're losing while AT&T outsources their USA DSL tech support services to India. Oh, and Target as well. I have no problem with AT&T India people supporting people in India, but from the United States? Come on Pac Bell, Alexander G Bell would be rolling over in his grave.

Ugh

From what I heard it's very low pressure - very easy - and moderately slow. It's possible to do other tasks in between. An easy $100. $100 is better than $0.... (o:

Hopefully if Obama's corporate restructuring plan goes thru (which the agents at OP are working at stopping...LOL) our jobs will stop going overseas and pay will be a bit better than $2.50 per hour)
