Good question. My biggest challenge so far has probably been creating a balance between work and having fun. Sometimes I'm so distracted by the things going on around me that I procrastinate. Other times, I'm just glued to my laptop and end up working late into the night instead of taking time for myself.

But, for the most part, I've got it down pat now by setting a schedule for myself and staying organized (or at least attempting to.)

Hi All:

My biggest challenge would be to get my family to respect and understand that since I"m working from home, to remember that I"m "hence" working. I don't think they get it. There seems to be a lack of balance and or respect. I'll close the office door and they still barge through like a freight train. The questions are always, "What's for dinner"? "Can I get on the computer and play around" "I'm hungry" and "I'm bored". Does this sound familiar to anyone out there?

Hmm, that would be talking to people... it's so hard for me to talk to people about my business and products. I know they are not going to bite... :p but still it's SOOO hard for me.

Biggest challenge for me right now is getting started, searching through all the scams but then finding things, waiting for the chance to get started..........

later I am sure that I will have balancing issues a bit but I guess that goes for all working moms.

Ms.B, I can deffinitely relate to a good part of what you said!

Also, as a man (technically not a WAHM), I sometimes feel that people (particularly family members) fail to take my online efforts seriously. Time spent on the computer is often equated with "game playing" or "aimless internet surfing"! Neither of which could be further from the truth, as I deplore both activities.

Until I'm able to reap the proverbial harvest in a $ubstantial way, I guess I'll have to continue to endure the occasional "why don't you get a real job" remarks! LOL!

Just juggling it all! In the beginning it was finding the time, and getting the respect. Now, I've finally gotten that, but there just aren't enough hours in the day!

Well, there seems to be a few. I'd have to say getting all of my client work done and still have time for my marketing and family. I seem to be stretched to only get two done. I can never seem to get all three done on a daily basis without staying up half the night.

My ongoing marketing is the one thing that seems to really get left out. I know I must do it to grow my business.

Just my input.

Well said. I'm a telecommuter and direct seller (I have 2 businesses) and this is my biggest challenge as well.

I am starting to go to bed earlier and get up before everyone else does and that combined with making a good list of things to do seems to be working well. I use a day planner that has places for everything that needs to be done, delegated, called, errands to run etc to help keep all of that under control. Having clear goals and visions helps me stay on track.

Yes, I am going through that now with one of my family members. They will just come sit right next to me, like less then 1 foot, and chatter away expecting me to interact with them, like I am doing nothing on the computer. It is strange to me, as this is an adult. I am trying to get better at dropping hints that I am really busy, have a deadline or got to do this now, hints. Patience gets thin but I'm hoping.

My biggest challenge right now is believing in myself and knowing all my hard work isn't in vain. My biggest challenge is to keep working hard every day and putting in enough hours a day. It okay though. I working hard now but oneday I will be able to slow down.

Since I take inbound calls, the hardest thing for me is the noise my family makes. I have been doing this for four solid months, but they really don't get it.

I think that my biggest challenge is just getting started. I am trying to covert from the outside work into full time at home work and it is just a big adjustment. But I put my faith in the God Almighty that if it be his will that by the first of the year I will be a full at home worker.

Searching for a job is a challenge as I have no clue where to start.
I have other challenges and was about to post them here... but it quickly turned into a paragraph and I really don't want to sound like a complainer, so I'm leaving it as is.

My biggest challenge in my online business is finding good, quality products that I can proudly sell as an affiliate.

My biggest challenge is believing in myself. I have been out of work for almost 4 months and I haven't found a job to do from home or in an office. I feel defeated and feel like I have no skills.
