Hey Ameri-

Your answers may give you a skewed perception of what the "norm" is,
based on what the mean number of board members focus on for their
business. --We have 3 different ways to earn income with our company,
and some people don't do *any* retail, yet are earning upper 5 and 6-
figure incomes with Scent-Sations.

If you need steady income quickly, parties are an easy way to accomplish
this. Booths at gift & craft shows may be an option, or flea markets- you
may want to ask Sandy about these. If you are able to sponsors local
retailers into carrying your products, (spas, health co-ops, salons, etc.)
this may be another lucrative option for retailing with out having to do
parties.

I do not focus on retailing, but my DH takes a votive from the current
COTM with him to work each month. I average 3-5 jars per month this
way. I also hold a vendor's table at my monthly TOTS group, and sell
about 10-15 jars and a couple dozen votives there each month. Family
and friends usually knock off another case and a couple dozen votives.
And this is from someone who is not putting an emphasis on retail.

How's your research into other business opps going? You'll have to let us
know who our "competition" is! LOL!

P.S. If you leave Bittersweet, will you be leaving any downline? That may
be a strong plus for our business- you may be able to bring your
downline with you... smileys/smiley2.gif

I am almost positive I am leaving Bittersweet no smileys/smiley19.gifhere!!!

I have thought of going to some tanning salons & hair salons & opening a boothat the antique/Flea Market.Sandy is sending me info & some votives.

I do understand people sell & acheive their sales different ways.I am just kinda wanting to see what they are doing & the results of how many they sell

I average about 3to 5 cases a month selling retail. I also do fundraisers and with the last one sold 5 cases between 9 boys who sold for our local wrestling team!!! There are many ways to sell. It just depends on your interests and you whys???</font>

Hi Ameri_girl,

I would say that I average about 2-3 cases a month as well too! In the last few weeks, retail sales have almost double since last month. I was very surprised about that! It really just depends on how much you can get out there and talk to people. The more you talk, the more business you will have!

I wish you the best in coming aboard with us!

Many Blessings,

Natalie

I can sell on "average" I guess around 2+ cases of jars per month so far, and votives vary. Some months I can sell a small assortment, but I don't particularly "plan" to sell votives as such. If it's requested, that's great - if not, it's more I can use for marketing. That's what I used to think anyway. It looks like I may have a wave of votive marketing at that blasted flea market. That's ok, they may become jar customers in time!

You are going to love those samples. I worked on the package this afternoon but missed the pickup (I've been a little out of sorts - sick today - as I told you I would probably end up getting it smileys/smiley36.gif), but it's ready for tomorrow's outgoing mail! smileys/smiley2.gif

Thanks Kitt, althoughAmeri_Girlhas not joined just yet, howeverthat's what I'm working with her on. She's got a fantastic attitude and I can sense a thirst to kick this thing in the butt and get it moving, so we've worked on a plan to get her toes wet just before she takes the plunge smileys/smiley2.gif

Hi Ameri Girl! smileys/smiley17.gif

I am pretty much like the others... I do retail 2-3 doz jars per month....fall and holiday time was more. I have my candles in a nail salon in my home town also. I have done one fundraiser which turned out well for a dance team and I have also done a couple of fairs/fests which had wonderful success. I plan on doing more of those this year. I am building a team of partners and my residual income from team building is growing each month. There are so many ways to make an income with Mia Bella... you just find your niche and have fun! Many Blessings,

My goal is to sell at least a case a week and now in the past few weeks that I have really busted my butt I am doing it! I am doing it through a variety of ways: fundraisers, I have a friend who is selling them at her job (I still can't convince her to become a distributor), I also have a ton of other things going on. I have put a candle and or business cards in several locations. Giving out brouchures and business cards to everyone who will take them!
