Ok so I am a agent but i wanted to become a specialist i think that is the name. How do i do that and do they answer questions also.

To become a QA you have to have perfect reviews for a while and you have to be invited. You have to answer a minimum of 100 questions a month once becoming a QA. It is not an easy position to get and you cannot apply for it. According to the people in chat over there, they have only sent out 2 rounds of invites for QAs so it's not an easy job to get with them.

Do they only take applications at certain times?

You must be talking about the application to become an Agent. To become a QA one of the requirements is "Must have prior experience as a kgb Special Agent"
