Hi! I was a 3rd grade teacher before having my oldest daughter - since then I've taught summer school here and there, done an after-school program and now I'm considering either tutoring on the weekends or tutoring online. I found out that Kaplan is hiring in my area and I was wondering if anyone has ever worked for them before, what it was like and what the pay was like. I went to the website and it looks like a great fit for me - only requiring a min of 4 hrs/week of work (I still have a baby at home and limited time), but it didn't say anything about starting pay. I searched Kaplan on this site and didn't come up with much - maybe because it's not a telecommuting position? Anyway, if anyone has ever worked for them, I'd greatly appreciate your experience and words of wisdom.

As far as I know the Kaplan positions are all onsite. There is tutoring for Sylvan online. Educate Online is the company I believe and there should be info in this forum on them too.
