Hello,
I'm an Arbonne rep in a very very highly saturiated area of Arbonne reps. I've been told this is the "Arbonne capital of the World" It's hard to find people who are interested in the product or who don't already have a seller. How did you find your success? We've done parties to no avail. Any tips for me? I've been doing it since November and I have about 1600 in sales now. Any pointers?
Thanks!

Hi there and welcome!
I have a few ideas for you:
I would start with my family and friends.I would ask them since this product/companyis such a household name here in our state. Could they possibly think of any of their friends or family in another state that could benefit from our wonderful products! I would also hold a business launch for myself and "flyer" and call everyone and hold a drawing (maybe a aromatherapy basket full of goodies), that is for anyone attending to enter; provided they give you 2 names that you could call to introduce your business to. At least that's a start! Hope that helps you.

RCRMOM, well you must be in Oklahoma also. Yes, there are times when you can feel like everyone here knows about the company already. However, I actually do meet a lot of people who don't or who have just vaguely heard about it. And obviously there is a way to grow since people here are still promoting out the wazoo. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif
Alldeckedout has great ideas for you. If you can get some people outside the state then that is fantastic. As far as finding success inside the state, our team is doing great using the approach Hannah refined for us. Parties do not work well for us at all here. Have you listened to Hannah's calls? With her ideas we were able to go back to people who were clients or wb & re-introduce the idea of a business to them. It's like having a built in goldmine for prospects. People who were not intersted before b/c they didn't want to do parties are now curious to know more.
One thing that is important is to ask questions. When you meet someone & they say they've heard of Arbonne or know someone who sells it ask them something. Just b/c they've heard it or know someone who sells it doesn't mean they have been asked to try it or know anything about it. Ask something like"Oh really, which product is your favorite?" It doesn't matter what you ask as long as it's open ended, all you are wanting is to open up some dialog. You may find out that they know nothing about the company.
And as a general rule just always ask for referrals. That gives you an endless supply of prospects.
You've been doing this since November, that is really a short amount of time. Give yourself some time to grow a solid business. I know with people promoting up to VP level in such short amount of times it gives the rest of us a ridiculous expectation of how fast we should be growing. This is a business not a get rich quick scheme so don't be so hard on yourself so early in your career. It takes time. Just be sure to keep doing consistent activity & you'll do great!

I do live in Oklahoma! Edmond to be exact. My sister is in my upline and my mom is in my downline. I've been trying to get my aunt in Houston to hit her friends up about it, but she is wishy washy. We're actually going there in May and staying at her house. I'm sure that will help alot. It just seems like everyone I talk to already knows about it!

lol, I almost put Edmond to be specific. I think it's also all in how you look at it. I prefer to look at it as a positive that we have so many IC's, kind of proud to be leading the way. Of course, I'm in the Tulsa area so not quite as many here. Though it's growing at an insane rate. Can't go anywhere without seeing a white Mercedes it seems like.
But if you are on a team that is growing so fast then that means that your leaders know what they are doing & know how to help others get there. It's a great positive. Not everyone has this much access to so many great leaders. smileys/smiley1.gif
That's great that you are going to Houston soon. Hopefully it will turn out to be a great source for you!

I'm in Edmond too! It's ridiculously saturated here. I know this business will work, we'll just have to reach out and find people. Even though Edmond is saturated, I'm sure there are many communities nearby that aren't. Get involved in some new groups, volunteer, it's all about networking.
Best of luck!
Kathleen
