i took the simulation yesterday and the whole time i was pretty nervous, and i think i skrewed up a LOT.

i hardly could figure out how to use the friggin thing! i mean i read all the "training" but i just sorta forgot half of it. here are some of the main things i was confused about:

1. when a question is like "What is your name?", then what do I put in the "source" section? it says a source is always required but i had no idea what to put. btw, do sources always have to be link?

2. how do verification questions work? i don't think i got any of those in simulation. will the answer just "pop up" or do i have to click something? also do people get charged for verification messages or do i put "no charge"?

3. what did the "c" in "ace" stand for again? i remember accuracy and extend the brand but i forgot the rest.

4. Will I probably get the "third" result ("not qualified")? for example, for questions that i literally had no idea to put for the source (i.e. "what is your name"), the only thing i could think of to use for the source field is kgb_ Help Doc | Learn_ (http://kgbdoc.com/learn.html) and i don't think that's what they're looking for.

5. am i the only person that found this to be very difficult/confusing to use? i am usually pretty good at figuring out how to use websites but with this i was seriously like "HTF DO I USE THIS THING". please try to help me

don't worry. if you fail sometimes you get another chance at it.

1. if you use the kgb data base for whats your name then you use kgb.com. and YES, a source has to have a direct link and not just Yahoo! (http://www.yahoo.com).

2. do you mean clarification questions? if so, no they don't get charged. BUT if you put in alternative information with the clarification then send charge. ALWAYS be sure to ask an Op in chat to send anything no charge.

3. C in ACE is completness.

4. When not in simulation. We ask for help in chat and if you cannot find anything there is always alternative information we send or if you don't know what they are talking about ask for help.

5. Sim was easy... if you read the hints....

Don't worry about it you will probably get to take it over.. I hope you pass!!!

No, wikipedia, wiki answers, Yahoo answers, etc are all considered invalid and unreliable sources. Most of the time though you can find a credible source for the info at the bottom of the Wikipedia page.

No, until you get that email saying you passed simulation it won't allow you to log on and accept texts. The reason you received it is because you are registered in the system.

I got that same email Saturday AND Sunday...I emailed them and they emailed me back saying it was sent on accident...

whew, i got an email from kgb today saying that i can retake the test within five days. before i start on it, i want to be sure how to prevent alot of the mistakes noted in the reviews.

A) First off, many times I go the "remember that the character limit is 102 characters". i thought that the character limit was 160, right? please explain

B) How do I reuse an answer from the database? I couldn't figure out what to click.

C) How would I dismiss a question that says "What is your name?" (like what do i click)?

D) Are we allowed to answer personally questions (ex "what color is your hair") or are we required to give a disclaimer at no charge?

next time you take the simulator pay attention to the top, it will explain how to answer each question and the steps to take.. All of your questions will be answered if you read that.

i read the tips and all but i didn't read them thoroughly (i pretty much "scanned it" to figure out the jist). i guess i'll read it all if it really helps but i don't recall it ever mentioning anything as specific as places to click.

- You can only use up to 160 characters if your sending lyrics or recipes. But that 160 characters has to include the "More?" into it :)

-When you select the category for your question on the right hand side there is that box thing (lol) at the top click "Similar Questions" (i think thats what it is called?) and see if you can find the same question there. If you do click on the Recycle button and send the answer like you normally would.

-You dont dismiss them. You simply state something along the lines of how you are kgb_ a knowledge database or something. In the tips during the sim it will tell you what you can put.

D) Are we allowed to answer personally questions (ex "what color is your hair") or are we required to give a disclaimer at no charge?

-Not sure, never been asked that question.
