Hi to all !!!

I would like to know how many people use fillers as a way for advertising and marketing ? I sent about 50 postcards with scent samples to a lady who needed some.

Now I would just like to know if anyone received business for this and if it was worth it ???

Let me know... smileys/smiley1.gifThank you.

Hi Christina,

I have not been able to do this as of yet. So I am sorry that I am not able to offer any advice or comment other than to say thatI wish you the best with it. I am sure that you will receive some question of response from this soon!

Hi Christina:

I did this for a little while but didn't get any contacts from it. I didn't use scent samples though so that might give you a better chance. Good luck with it and I'll be anxious to hear how it goes for you.

The first 2 times i did i got a couple responses, but then none.

I just hope they are really getting put into the filler packs. smileys/smiley5.gif

I've not tried that but I did do something corny for the flea market smileys/smiley36.gif

You see, my husband is into this www.wheresgeorge.com (http://www.wheresgeorge.com) and marks all his bills. So, when I got a stack of singles, he went and logged them into the website, put the website stamp on the back along the edge..... and I was thinking *shrug* why not...... and put mywww.SmellOfSuccess.net (http://www.SmellOfSuccess.net) along the other edge smileys/smiley36.gif. I know he gets "hits" from his George's when people actually go to the website and logs in the serial number, so I know people actually look at the bills, and some act on them. Hey, it was free - and the treasury dept doesn't have a problem with generic marking along the edge (they know about the george site and stamps people use) as long as it doesn't *blatantly* deface the bill.

I swear I will LMBO if I get an inquiry from one of those dollars! If I do, you ladies will be the first to know! smileys/smiley36.gif

smileys/smiley36.giflol, a few years ago I was in to that "where's george"! I will have to look in my file cabinet and look them up now - it was actually kind of fun! I didn't have stamper though, so I had to hand write it.

I think that with fillers and mom packs, you are competing with just too many things, and if those people are like me, tend to throw out most of it after only looking at one or two. I think personally handing out only your business information will get better results than handing them yours plus 20 other home biz info. Like you said, who knows if they are actually using the information.
