Hello,
I had my kick off party tonight which I was SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited about! But my turn out was terrible. I invited 53 people 24 replied that they would come but only 9 people showed up! :( So, I didn't meet my $400 order to get my starter kit! :( I thought I would've had a better turn out and would have made the $400 easily.. but I didn't... I called everyone who RSVP'd yes yesterday to remind them and they all said they would be here.. And I made a bunch off food and spent alot of money to make the Cook off party great, but didn't even get anyone to book a party! Help.. need inspiration and some help on what else I can do to get the rest of the $400 order!!

Thanks,
Akbogan

That is very odd that many people were no shows. Did they say yes weeks before the event and maybe forgot? Or, were you able to make reminder calls 24-48 hours to the event just to remind them? Regardless, call them ( not email) and let them know that you are sorry that they were missed. Ask if they would be interested in still learning about HG? (Offer to do a 1-on-1 consultation). If they say no, then perhaps they truly were not interested in coming (and were somewhat maybe's).

Were you able to do a 4 meals in 4 minutes demo? That is HUGE selling feature to upsell customers to buy mixes to buying meals. The new 'Dinner Tonight' collection for $67.50 is a GREAT starter kit for a customer to get 1 each individula mix of the seasoning that come in the Staple Size. They can use the planner and make 20 back to school crockpot meal. Share that our seasonings are 100% satisfied or they can replace with another mix on behalf of home office.

Remember - a $400 retail order is $240 out of pocket...So as long as you physically collect $250 + shipping from customers - you will HAVE the money in hand to pay for your initial order. Perhaps you have that already? If you have the physical $$ that you can invest in free product to help with upcoming events and/or your presonal inventory.

Also - you may want to touch base with your sponsor or director to get more tips.
The average sale per customer is $35-$45...so perhaps just get some tips to help you reach your first sales goal.

YOU CAN DO IT!!!
