Hi guys!

I was wondering what you guys are averaging in pay if that is not too personal. I am going to start training and was just interested in knowing...I've read in posts that it makes for good extra grocery money and things like that, which is good since we've got another mouth to feed soon!

I just started, I'm making 2-3 bucks an hour. I'm trying to work up to 4-5.
It will def. help with some bills, or groceries. And I only work 3 hours a day.

I love kgb :)

That's cool! How was the training?

Not bad at all, they pretty much go over EVERYTHING with you, you're not left with a million questions at the end. The sim wasn't bad either, you will have little tips at the top that help you out.

If your wondering how much you can make a month, the most for June someone made was over $1,100, then 2nd highest was like in the $800's. Just really depends how much you work and when you work, I find that the questions come in at a quicker pace at night which in return helps get paid more during those hours. You can make 4-5$+ during the peak hours.

I honestly rarely schedule myself. I pop and and see if I'm needed. Weekends and evening tend to be pretty busy. I am 120 for the month of Aug. The first two weeks I only popped on here and there. But now I'm getting more confident and faster. The other night I made close to $7 an hour. Sometimes only a buck an hour though. In the day if I pop on and it's slow I multi task and check my emails and just kepp going back for questions. It's not great money, but it's something. I made 35 on Sunday, over 20 yesterday and I'm about 50 cents away from 20 today.

$120 is great if you ask me. I mean not a full-time income but if you can do it during your down time here and there it's better than sitting in front of the tv wasting time. I hope I can get on with kgb (waiting to hear back about sim) because I can use any extra money I can get right now. I figure I can work while my son is sleeping or hop on other times when I have nothing else going on.

Who ever started this thread asked an honest question. So, I'm going to give an honest answer. (No b.s. because I would want someone to be honest with me about a job). Most people average 1-3 dollars per hour. as far as people making $350+ a month at kgb_, it's extremely hard for most. A lot of times we are overstaffed and it's hard to get questions. In addition, if you want to send quality answers then it takes time. Some people say that they make $10+ an hour. I congratulate them if this is true. On the other hand, I'm not quite sure if that is even possible. Just do the math. If you are making $10 an hour, then you would have to answer 100 questions (at most) in an hour (that's less than a minute per question.) Now is that possible? I don't even know because we don't even have access to 100 questions per person per hour. So I didn't comment to slander anyone or offend anyone. I just wanted to give an honest opinion because I know kgb_ is not clear on how much the average agent makes.

I made 57.00 my first 4 days in shadowing, but I have a lot of free time so I spent it working. Then I got sick and haven't worked much since.

I honestly think it would depend on how much time you put into it, how quick you are at searching for correct answers and how busy they are. I tend to work really late nights and really early mornings so they are pretty steady then.

My goal is $10 per day, which takes me 2-2.5 hours. I'm 34 weeks pregnant and have a two year old so I'm slowing down lately. My goal is $300 a month and it's been very doable. Just takes some practice.

I'm 30 weeks and have a three year old. She just turned three. Wow it takes you two hours to make 10 dollars? That's pretty good!

Thats my goal topo.
I think I average about $3.30 an hour. But some hours I make 7 and some only 1. During the slow times in the day when I'm on I just multi task and read up on my emails and keep checking for texts. On evenings you can make more much faster, and weekends too. Most mornings after 8 are pretty slow. I would never use this as my only income, but for extra money it's good for me. i don't have to get a sitter, get dressed or drive anywhere!

If you guys work during the times they say they are the busiest, you will make A LOT of green. Some people can make like $10 an hour. Make sure to watch for those announcements from the Ops.

Keep it up!

Is the economy that bad that people are really this excited over getting a job that makes 3-5 dollars per hour? Not trying to be a troll but Kgb should really up their pay, at least minimum wage don't you think? I remember how excited I was when I went through all the tape and got the job, then I quit a week later because I never made it over 4 dollars an hour and I was going at a decent rate, clicking questions as soon as I saw them. I don't know, it was just a big let down for me. I was sad. I thought it would be a good second income, my main work at home job pays 15 an hour, but sadly it wasn't for me.

They probably won't up their pay. It's per text so in theory the longer you do it the better you'll get paid. And there are lots of people who don't mind making a few bucks per hour in their spare time. I know it would be great to earn more per hour but at the same time I am looking forward to making any extra money I can bring in because it's hard times right now and $3 is better than $0.

There are a lot of people that make a decent wage on kgb_. I make pretty good money but a lot of that has to do with the fact that I'm a QA and when there are no questions available, I can do reviews. On average I can make anywhere from $200-$300 a week if I have time to put the hours in. It's not a bad place to work and why not make spare money in your free time? :)

That's great. I think the thing to remember is that it is flexible, not phone related, and pay is per answer not per hour. So it's basically comission based.

So can you just pop in whenever you want if it shows on the schedule that it's understaffed or do you have to wait for an email inviting you if you have not scheduled yourself for that time? I find little slots of time during the day when I could log in but wasn't sure if it was okay or not.

How do you become a quality agent and how long do you have to work for them?

melissa71642

You have to have perfect reviews and it is an invite only position. I've been with them for about 5 months and was invited, but I think it depends on how many texts you take and again, your reviews.

Melissa, how often do you work?

I just got the email this morning welcoming me to be a full-fledged agent! It would be cool to be a quality agent someday but I'll just keep texting away until I hear otherwise.

Honestly, you have to be fast and willing to work hours when KGB is slow. I'm a student so I am able to get on in the middle of the day and late late at night (technically early morning) when there aren't many agents on. When I'm actually focusing, I make about $5 an hour. When I'm multitasking (IE: on Facebook and KGB or doing homework at the same time and waiting for questions) I average $2 an hour. I only work 10 - 15 hours a month since the requirements were lowered.

You can log in whenever you want! I never schedule shifts because of my erratic schedule, I just get on whenever I can. If you get on when it's understaffed Otto will ask you to commit a certain amount of time (IE: 35 minutes or whatever) but you can leave whenever you need to.
