Hi Ladies! I'm hoping some of you great "brains" here will help me out quickly. I'm doing a small wellness fair tomorrow. It's mostly just classes and honestly I think I'll be the only vendor there (like I said, it's small). We have Aromatherapy candles and I'd like to focus some on those but they only come in 2 styles so that doesn't give me much to display. We have lots of home accessories and I'm planning to just set up a desplay of those too, but what would you put your focus on? We have some very "earthy" things, glass and more elegant things and also some with an Asian influence. Any tips on how to focus my time? It's at a church and they don't know how many people they're expecting. They have a lot of classes going throughout the day and, I'm just going to be set up there in the hall I guess. I'm planning to give away our Nuance Glass which is our nicest form of the Aromatherapy candles and I'm letting them choose their favorite scent, I have the "benefits" sheet telling what each of the fragrances is supposed to be good for. If you've done one of these before help me out!

Are you asking about what you should discuss with people? If so, that sounds great. Just talk about how wellness also includes our envirnoment -- and environment that is as stress free as possible, and candles are definitely soothing and warm the soul.

Where the candle accessories/holders are concerned, make them more of a focus as to how there are many different styles that will fit into many different decorating styles. If at all possible, don't limit yourself to items that just appear to be "earthy" to you, as you never know what kind of decorating style someone might have in their home.

Definitely get thier contact information for the drawing, and what their interests are (i.e., to book a party with you, to learn more about the products, etc.).

Thanks. I just didn't know what to display...my "standard" or focusing on something specific. I personally thing that our "regular" candles can be just as relaxing or rejuvinating as our Aromatherapy, but I wanted to put more of an emphasis on it so that the people in charge didn't think I wasn't really something that should be there. I'm excited about it and hoping for at least 1 or 2 bookings! It's not costing me anything so all I'm out is time!

I've done a bunch of health fairs - they are lots of fun - but I am a nurse too - so that may be why I like them so much - LOL

Anyway - maybe put on some soft music - relaxation kind of stuff - and focus on whatever you sell that has health benefits - Make your display real calming and serene - and the drawing is great -

Today - people are so busy and stressed - that they love things that sooth and calm them -

If your company makes like bath salts, or a milk bath or ........ or if you have tealights maybe - you could make a small gift pak for everyone that books a stress relieving party of something -

Just some thoughts - Hope they help - HAVE FUN !!!
