I want to emphasize that Homemade Gourmet is shipping starter kits immediately (like May 7 promotion) the month of August. Usually they require the starter kit/first order paid together. This will help new Consultants get started strong in their business with all the business materials they need to collect orders. The Starter Kit does not include mixes, so they are encouraged to place their initial $240 wholesale order with their enrollment, but if they choose to collect orders first or borrow mixes from their sponsor or fellow Consultant for sampling at a cook-off, they will have the necessary business supplies they need to start their business.
The new Consultant's personal website and access to the eGathering center will begin immediately upon enrollment. The status of an enrolled Consultant will be "pending" until he or she places his or her initial order of $240 wholesale or more; at that point, their status will be "active" and the active date will be changed to the date of the initial order.
Note: A consultant is 'pending' until they place their first wholesale order. To Earn the 'Dinner Tonight' Collection, the $240 wholesale order must be placed by August 17. However, the consultant would have until September 30th to place their first order to activate. They just would not earn the Dinner Tonight collection.
