I have been getting A LOT of questions about Toners. Many Dermatologists are saying Toners are useless. Has anyone else heard about this?

I think the primary reason for one to use a toner is to bring a suitable pH level back to the skin after washing....also I find it to help close the pores.
I have dry skin, so I cannot use even Arbonnes toner everyday.I guess it can vary depending on ones skin type.
