Hi all, I am looking for something to supplement my Cafepress store. I have two kids and one on the way, so the extra $ would be very nice (I am a stay at home mom). I like Arbonne products, I feel like they are top notch. But I don't know of anyone that sells it (I just moved to central PA). Is it possible to at least make $300 a month for my family? Is it possible to do this with three kids, two of which would be under 3?
Thank you for any information you could give.
Abby

Abby,
Welcome! It is very possible to make $300 + easily, plus alot more. Who introduced you to the products? Are you looking for a sponsor nearby? If you go to arbonnes homepage, they will connect you to a sponsor closeby. If you don't mind long distance sponsoring, I am sure you will find someone here! Are you interested in doing parties or one on ones. Arbonne has so many ways to make the business work, you just have to find your niche and stick with it.

I agree with Barbara. There are a few of us from PA here... myself, arbonnegirl, and Beverly anda fewothers. You can check out the map too www.frappr.com/wahmarbonne (http://www.frappr.com/wahmarbonne)
edited to add... there are quite a few vp's who have small children... my ERVP is one of them! Check out the EOA's and you'll see many many kiddos as "why's".smileys/smiley2.gifEdited by: cassandra

Hi Abby,
I checked out your website, cute stuff! I'm expecting as well and loved the maternity shirts...too funny! Is that just a web-based business or do you have a retail store that you sell through? You would have a lot of connections with customers with your other business. I think you could easily supplement your family's income with Arbonne. Good luck to you.

Hi Lisa Michelle,
No, my shop is strictly online. It's doing okay, and I enjoy doing it!!! I have to warn you about the maternity, Cafepress doesn't actually have Maternity sized shirts, so if you want to buy something, size up, possibly to XL to accomodate the growing belly, lol. This worked well for me, but I know a lot of ladies don't like that. I have been lobbying cafepress pretty hard to get actual maternity Tees. If you would like, send me a PM and I'll keep you up to date on that, otherwise, seriously, the xl worked well for me.
I really wish they would get maternity, those shirts are my hottest selling items, grrrrrrr.
Thank you,
Abby

I received some arbonne at one time, but it's been a while, I liked it, but never re-ordered. I like the idea of doing one-on-ones more than parties, I'm much better that way. How many hours do you typically put into it a week?
Can I join for personal reasons at first, then join for money making later? Just because I'm pregnant right now, and wouldn't want to start until I have the baby.
Thank you all, you guys are great!

Two kids under 3! Wow girl, impressive! Sometimes I wonder how I manage to remember to dress myself & I just have one 3 year old! smileys/smiley36.gif
One of the great things aboutthe companyis that you can decide how much time to invest in your business. Part of what helps us with that is we have no quotas as far as keeping our consultant status. So once you pay your sign up fee you get your discount, period.
Someone who is really pushing it may do full time which is about 20-25 hours a week where others may not mind going at a slower pace & spend anywhere from 5-20 hours a week. And sometimes that is going to fluctuate depending on life. The important thing is to try to be consistent as much as possible, whatever that might be for you. That also depends on how fast you want to go.
And, since you prefer the one on one approach rather than parties then I think Hannah Dugan's approach would fit into your hectic lifestyle. The reason is b/c it can be done in short bursts of time. You do a 5 minute call, 15 minute call then a 30-45 minute call. With maybe some short calls inbetween at times.Soyou could easily fit it in around your kids or other business.
You sound likeyou aren't in contact with a consultant anymore so you'll also have the luxury of really finding a sponsor you fit well with...which is important. If you aren't sure of how to go about that there are tons of posts on how people have picked their sponsors, just do a search. Lots of great advice! You'll just have to decide which things are dealbreakers & which aren't in what you are looking for.
Good luck in your research & also with those babies! When are you due?Edited by: Soonergirl74
