Hey Kallie,
What part of the country are you in?? I'm with BeautiControl and I help my new consultants with their start-up fee. We will probably have a new promotionin March that offers a $99 start-up fee (that's the rumor!). Let me know if you are interested and I can send you an info packet!

I have to agree with Charlee. Sounds like from your signature that you already have a couple of businesses you could work on. Putting too many irons in the fire is never good. None of them will ever amount to anything if you try to do them all...take it from someone who's been there.

Hi Kalli
I don't know anything about typing jobs. Lots of people here talk about proofreading jobs.Maybe that could be a possibility for you.I am not with a spa company but I like Country Bunny alot - don't know the start up though. I think Avon is usually pretty inexpensive.
My newest Biz Maddy Moo has a free start up through the end of February - if you decide that's something that interest you let me know.
Good Luck!
Steph

I could be wrong but based on what she is saying and just from looking at the comp plans it may not be enough income for her.
Sometimes it's best to focus on one company but make sure the comp plan is paying well.

I'm not exactly sure what your looking for but with White Lily Candles you arn't required to do hom parties. And you can earn your kit if you choose not to purchase one. You can print off your own catalogs and materials and not even have to worry about ordering your supplies.

Hi Kalli!
I don't know much about spa companies either, so I can't help you there. I do know that a lot of companies represented on the board offer an earn your kit option. This will involve selling though. Are you opposed to selling or just parties?
For typing jobs, check out the telecommuting moms (http://www.wahm.com/forum/forum_topics.asp?FID=4) folder here at wahm. You may find some of the infothereuseful.
Good luck in your search! If I can help you with anything, feel free to send me a pm!

Ihave to go with the if you want to make money, you need to focus. If you want a biz, you need to spend money. You need something to show. And unless you are great at internet marketing (and few of us are), face to face marketing, or sharing/marketing is a great way to make money.
I will tell you, if you can take 2 hours a night, once a week and go over to someone's house and give facials, you can make good money. With toys I can make anywhere from $60 - $400 in a night. I think it's worth my time, and it doesn't tear me from my family much.
You are on the right track in narrowing down what you want to do. Let the products and your passion lead you from there. If you want to do something bad enough, things will happen and the money will appear. I've helped many get started who didn't have the deposit by sending them catalogs and giving them the profits from any orders they collect.
Best of luck!
Debbie

I could refer you to a great company, Arbonne. But like Deb said, in most direct sales or mlm companies, you'll need to spend some to make some. You can start your Arbonne business for only $29, and Arbonne doesn't require inventory or parties. In fact, most are more successful with individual appointments or services. But it is important to be a product of the product. To represent it, you need to use it, so you'd need to invest in yourself first. If finding healthy alternatives to products you use every day is of interest, check out arbonne.com.
The search can be exciting and confusing. I hope you're finding some answers to your questions!

Tahitian Noni</span> has a spa/skin care line. It's only 35.00 to enroll, but we do have a monthly autoship requirement. You may want to check out Lavender Love</span>. I think their enrollment & monthly min is low.
Good luck!

UndercoverWear has a division called UndercoverCare. We do home spa parties. When you start a business with UndercoverWear, you have access to no only the lingerie and sleepwear, but also the aromatherapy spa and beauty product lines, and also the adult romance enhancing novelty line. You can represent one, two, or all three of the lines. We had a convert-a-kit thing where you do a party and convert your hostess rewards to a starter kit valued at $300. Average earnings per party are $100-$200, Average hostesses get $200-$300. The ongoing startup is uaually $99 for one $300 kit, you can add a second kit for $79 and get the third kit for $69. represent all three product lines for $247. see my website for full details or just call me!

Hi Kalli~
The options are endless.smileys/smiley17.gif I understand that start up can be difficult, but do keep in mind a companies minimum requirements as well. Even a free to join may have other costs involved down the road (for whatever that may be).
My advise to you is to go with something that excites you and holds your interests. From there, find out more about the company - minimums/quotas, etc. Gather as much info as you can, and take your time~
Good luck with your search! Remember: Always ask LOTS of questions!smileys/smiley1.gif

Hi Kalli - Although we are part of the party plan business, with our products you have the option to sell via the website, catalog, or through promoting the products through speaking engagements with mom's groups.
The company is Once Upon A Family and we are all about inspiring family tradtions and enhancing family ties. In addition to products, we have a women's group called the Live, Laugh, Love Club and a character building product for children called Lessons for Little Ones.
I agree with the others that you should just pick one and put all your energies into that. We have a reseaonable kit fee of only $99. This is a ground floor opportunity, the company is approx. 4 years old.

Sincerely,
Valarie

There are companies out there that will allow you to earn your kit,but for the most part direct sales require some sort of investment!Even if you earn your kit there will be some expenses. My advice is to sit back and look at what you already have and decide if they are worth keeping, what do you want out of a company? What products would you be comfortable in selling? How much time/money can you invest in your buisness and yourself? It all is a personal choice and what is best for you and your family. If your other buisnesses are not providing the income that you desire, talk to your sponsor about ways that you could increase that.I have two buisnesses that keep me busy!Make sure that you are passionate about what you are doing,or what you may decide to get into,if not than your buisness will not get far.I have learned that buisnesses take time to develop and grow, and no buisness can give you the instant success money overnight.Make sure that when you decide what company to go with that the compensation plan is profitable and you are comfortable with your sponsor, after all having someone to train and mentor you is very important!Good Luck!smileys/smiley1.gif
