You want to know what scent would have a calming effect, etc. I do not know off hand..but thinking maybe google would be good. :)

I haven't seen anything specific to our candle scents, but with some
research, I'm sure it could be put together. I have some aromatherapy
references for my massage practice, but I don't know if I can come upw/ them all. It would be nice to have though!

Hi Melissa,

I knew what you meant as well! I do not have an answer for you though. Sorry! I think googling it would be a wonderful idea.

Wait, I could look up in my essential oils desk reference and see what I could come up with to. I will let you know what I find in there!

Many Blessings,

Natalie

I have something for you! Let me look for it and I will post it here tonight! There was an article in the Readers Digest not too long ago.

Oh, I found the article, but it didn't list the scents with the reactions, like I thought. I am wondering if I am missing a page. Instead it just explained that we have the ability to recognize and remember over 10,000 different scents. They explain the chemical process from which we remember those scents.

They did mention a few: The scents to help you lose weight - green Applies, peppermint, or bananas. Vanilla helps you stop your sweet cravings or cravings for chocolate.

It also said to smell your food before eating it - give yourbrain a chance to smell it - it will start making you feel full. I don't buy this since whenever I smell food cooking, I get hungry!
