Hi everyone! I have a question for those of you who made it happen without 100 names on your initial contact list. What did you do? Where did you go? What did you say? What did you give ?(samples/business cards) What worked and what did not? Our team needs some help. Please help us! Thank you!smileys/smiley5.gif

Reach for names- I went thru last years boy scouts and baseball lists- amazing how the names add up! I even went to thru the dentist and orthodontist that we go to(lots of women working there) again the names added up! I also had a large list of friends from back home- some that I have kept in contact with from college but have not necessarily seen in several years- put them on my list as well
As to what I did- those out of town- Istarted letting themknow by email and phone what i was doing and recently sent out alot of invites to my business launch to them- I told them I realized they could not come to my launch but I would love to share our products and business with them- so far have 3 that I am sending this wk - I had already sent 12 out to some of them over the last month and sold some via phone this month...
And always when you place a kit with someone - ASK for at least 4 names of people they know who would like to try our skin care!
Hope this helps

Leah is spot on. smileys/smiley1.gif
I have to add that you shouldn't stress over the number. Really that is just a memory jogger & most people don't end up calling every one of their names on that list, for one reason or another. That list is there so if you get stuck you can go back to it & pull a name you hadn't contacted yet or maybe looking at it again brings someone else to mind.
Here is why I say not to worry about the number, you are going to be meeting new people all the time. So that list is a fluctuating document, you add people & take people off as you go. You meet people everywhere you go. That is not to say you immediatelyvomit on them. smileys/smiley11.gifBut there are natural ways to bring up what you do, like asking them what they do. They will reciprocate & give them a little one sentence commercial. If they are interested get their information to actually tell them more later.
Another reason the list will grow is referrals. Always ask for referrals! If someone is or isn't interested they still know other people with skin. Ask them who they know that might be interested.
And, no matter what always continue to follow up.Follow up whatever leads you have.Someone not ready toget int he business right now or buy thenask them if it would be ok if you checked back later. Who knows where they'll be in 6 months. I think there is so much that is lost in this business b/c people end up not following up.
Just stay in activity, no matter how many people are on your list!

on a recent conference call i heard this:
"there are 20,000 people looking for a homebased business everyday. you are looking for people who are looking for you."
i think that your "warm market list" is a great way to start but sometimes hard to complete. redo your list, and dont just think of people that you think may or may not be interestedin arbonne. make a list of EVERYONE and I do mean EVERYONE you have ever known. that may sound a little extreme but it will help you think of people you forgot. the way that arbonne is growing so fast if you dont put them on YOUR list they will go on someone else's list SOON, if they're not already. im trying to get to them first, even if they aren't interested now, they may be 6 months down the road. and maybe they will remember where they heard it. good luck! i'm pretty new to this too, but this is how people in my nation have prospered.
