Hi,
I'm new and still trying to figure things out. I'm curious to know if anyone knows if these ads are legit. I've noticed they are posted on career builder for many states. Please advise. Thanks!!

The big red flag for me is a one time fee of $69 plus shipping/handling. HELLO that's alot of money for a 'job', even if they say its refundable I would steer clear of it. JMHO, and it says Rebate processing in the description which is a scam.

I agree. I wouldn't pay for this information. If you research government websites for employment (federal and state), you can probably find most of that information on your own, for free.
Also check your city and county website pages. Civil Service positions and exams are announced to the public. Or if you stop by your local city offices, county office building, and even the post office, you'll find postings for government jobs there too.Edited by: danasurvey

Thanks everyone. I did end up doing a BBB search as well and they are rated as F for multiple reasons. I figured it was too good to be true, but sometimes you just never know! THANKS!!
