Hi there everyone,

I had Tivo'd the show "Mario, FULL BOIL" on the Food Network this weekend and got to watch it last night. I was so excited my husband thought I was losing my mind.

The show was all about life for Mario in 2005 basically. His different ventures like his restaurants and cookbooks to his food and product lines. It's a great show and you get an idea of what it's like for him.

For those who don't know it, Taste of Home Entertaining is now carrying Iron Chef Mario Batali's product line exclusively. During the taping of the show I watched he was developing his line and had not yet struck a deal with us to carry his line.

He did a trade show and had his line in a few kitchen supply stores in New York City for a short time. He pulled his product line back and we now carry it, but the great thing was that it showed the great response from the public for his product line. It's called The Italian Kitchen and it just great and if I knew how to post pictures here I would post a few. LOL I loved to see and hear him talk about what he was trying to accomplish with his line. He said he looked at what he had in his own kitchen and thought about what wasn't quite working for me and then made improvements. Right now to the thumb divet on the handle of a pasta spoon. LOL

Anyway, it was great to see our actual stuff there on the Food Network. One of our goals has been to have stuff that people can see on the Food Network and then come to us to buy.

I am going to watch it again as soon as I get a chance. Hubby just doesn't quite get as excited over it as I do and there is only one DVR set up in the house. LOL

Thanks for letting me share. If you are interested it will show again on Feb. 25th at 4:00 pm PT/ET and on Feb. 26th at 5:00pm PT/ET.

And of course, if you see anything your interested in, let me know. smileys/smiley2.gif

I love watching Molto Mario. His recipes are easy to follow.smileys/smiley1.gif

Shouldn't this be in another folder though?

Nondy, I called Fed Ex and my package will be here on Wednesday. It's coming from Custom Marketing.

Crystal, I'm not sure what you mean by a different folder. I am a member and I am in the Party Plan business. I do remember another post when Discovery Toys was going to on the Dr. Phil show. I don't do DT, but I was glad to know about it and I did watch so I could see first hand the products because I have never been to a DT party.

Mario, FULL BOIL is a good program as is all of Mario's shows and for anyone who enjoys the Food Network and especially Iron Chef America, they will really enjoy this look at Mario behind the scenes.

Although I wish everyone who watched the Food Network or loves Mario Batali was on my Taste of Home Entertaining team, they are not so they would not catch this post on the TOHE section of this board.

By the way, Mario talked about his new cookbook and how it's the easiest one so far. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Have a great week,
Brenda P.

I saw it Brenda! It was awesome! I loved watching how his restaurant developed and also his food line. I can't believe they tried so many tons of sausage until they found the perfect recipe! That was crazy!I also loved seeing our products. I was watching it with my hubby yelling "Hey! That's our lasagna pan!" smileys/smiley36.gifHe thought it was pretty cool too. From what I understand he will still carry a line outside of TOHE, althoughmany of his products are exclusive to us.

You know what's so funny about Mario is his shorts and bright shoes he wears all the time - cracks me up! smileys/smiley36.gif

I LOVE watching the Food Network. We actually just got lucky and stumbled across the show last night when we were flipping through the TV. I'm glad to know that you saw it too!!
