Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has heard of Cake N Crumbs. I am considering becoming a consultant and would liek your opionon on the overall concept. I have attended 1 class and thought the evening was fun and I learned alot. Compared to internet companies with similar products the products are very reasonable some even less expensive, which I think is great for direct sales. I also think with the variety of classes offered bookings will be easier to get and I think many hosts may book again. What are your thoughts?

I am already working with a consultant, I am just looking to see how it looks to others as a host and/or customer.

You can post here or email me wahmoutreach@yahoo.com. The website is www.cakencrumbs.com (http://www.cakencrumbs.com).

Thank You Very Much,

Hi Melissa!

I've never heard of this company, but it looks like a lot of fun! It's actually given me a few ideas!

This is definitely a party I wouldhost if one of my friend's was involved with them! (and I'm not someone who likes to do parties)

Good luck! I hope you some of the othergals can give your their opinion too!

I had looked into this about a year ago. The owner is super sweet. A definite niche! But, I just didn't feel I'd be confident to teach baking & decorating. This is definitely a hands on type of business.

Good luck; keep us posted on how it's going!

It looks cute! I think it could be done in the right area. Have you approached your family and friends and asked what they think? After all, they will probably be the people who will be your first hosts.

Good luck with your decision!

Wow! I have never seen that before. Personally,I wouldn't want to do it as a business, because it is such a niche. I would definitely have a party though. Which shows there is a market for it though, if you can find it. Fun! Keep us posted!!

I think it looks fun too - what I am wondering though is how much cost would be involved. It looks like each one of the classes are pretty specialized and would require a lot of tools, molds, cutters, etc. Not to mention all of the stuff that goes on and in confections like that. I wonder how to cost for the class works that you are able to get all of these things and be compensated nicely for your time too.

If you already know more about this I would love it if you would share what you know! I think the idea sounds fun and like something people would really enjoy doing, but just from being a hobbyist in this area alreadyit seems like it could get really time and labor intensive!

This isn't the first time I've heard of them. Actually, the first time I seen the website was through an advertiser of mine. I thought it was a really cute and unique idea. I LOVE unique smileys/smiley2.gif

Looks like something I could get into--for the right commission. Anyone know the startup and commission?

I would love to be a consultant for a company like this. Can I be an instructor if I live in California? I saw only Eastern states listed on the site. Are there any other companies like this?

Thank you,

Danielle
