Hi everyone
I have planned many corporate events from grand openings to ribbon cuttings and now I am hired on a contract basis as a wedding planner here in Iowa--we specialize in gay and lesbian destination weddings. I am so excited to be part of this awesome opportunity.
Because most of our clients are out of state, everything will be handled via phone, email and perhaps mail until the couples arrive in Iowa.
What I am looking for is some help on how to do a great consultation over the phone---and at that point what are some appropriate next steps to take, perhaps more marketing idea to stay in contact with the couple.
We have very simple preset packages---elope to Iowa, as well as a small wedding package. Nothing extravagant. Still---some clients may want this, and yes, we can do weddings of this size.
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks!
