Hey, anyone had luck with makeup for black women? What are your top sellers? One of my clients did not like her wet/dry coloring and went back to MAC? Just wandering if that is common because I am new? I love BC

A suggestion on the coloring for foundation. I have a client who is lighter in the face than her neck. We matched the color of her neck to the foundation and that worked out much better for her. I have had no problem selling the wet/dry or the Secret Agent liquid.

We are one of the few companies that I think really have a good selection for different nationalities. Our products are for every woman, and so is our oppurtunity.

I wholeheartedly agree with you Tess! It is also great that we have a product guide for women of color.

BeautiControl has a beautiful product guide for darker skin tones (13054)that will help you sell makeup. My best sellers arethe Bellissima and the Midnight Cowgirl sets, the Wet/Dry and the (dark) secret agent concealer.

Yesterday, I did a 5 minute makeup on a beautiful African American lady. I used the concealer, the wet/dry (P6) and the bellissima set. She loved the end results and bought the skin care and the beauti set!

I spend 3 1/2 hours at my Spa yesterday. We were all having so much funpainting our toe nails after the Spa was over that I didn't mind staying longer than usual.I had great sells, three bookings and one future recruit!

I love Spa-ing!

Congrats on a successful spa, Itzy!!! smileys/smiley32.gifI'm sooooo happy for you! I'm sure being "real" and hanging out with them afterwards really made an impression on the guests!

Thank you, Kimberlee

The hostess and I never had the chance to get to know each other before the Spa because she was always very busy.I have to admit, I didn't think the Spa was going to be successful because I didn't have the opportunity to couch her. I was worry but decided to have fun and didn'texpect anything from it.

When I got there, again I didn't have time to talk much because she was busy finishing the last minute dishes and her husband was there helping. We talked for a little bit and allI had the chance to ask was to let the guests eat after the Spa.

At the Spa, there were 5 guests plus the hostess. So, I Thank her and pointed out how hard she work and how much each of us appreciated her invitation. After I finish taking orders and booking Spas, I putall my stuff back in the car and went back in to continue the party!
