Newstex LLC, which is based in the New York area, seeks a blog syndication project assistant. This position is an excellent opportunity for persons with knowledge of HTML, RSS, and Microsoft Excel to help make blogging profitable for the 3,000 bloggers who agree to syndicate their content via Newstex.
The project assistant is responsible for entering bloggers' RSS feeds into the Newstex computer system, adding descriptive information about each blog, monitoring blog content for proper appearance, communicating with bloggers to resolve technical concerns, and creating monthly spreadsheets that summarize blog activity. The assistant may also take screenshots of blogs with simple image software.
Training is provided to help the assistant understand the Newstex computer system, RSS, and text extraction.
Requirements:
