Ok so it was a fact I fell in love with BC this week. So I was wondering about your company.

What is your commission rate?

Do you have to carry stock? She had some but... just wondering

Any monthly minimums or quota's?

Does anyone do this for personal use?

Is your commission rate the same as your discount?

How much does it cost to get started?

How many classes do you do a week?

I think that is about it. Thanks Girls!

Jody, that's how I also fell in love w/BC--at the first spa I went to! I loved the experience and I loved the products--which makes ALL the difference when you do this for a business!!</span><br style="color: rgb(204, 0, 0);"><br style="color: rgb(204, 0, 0);">About personal use--my Director originally signed up just for personal use, and decided to work the business here and there for fun and extra money. I would like some info too on all the questions originally posted. I looked on the website but couldn't find what I wanted. Wouldnt it be easier to just post all the answers to the questions without the pms. That way anyone can just get the info they want without having to post? I hesitated for a while about posting but figured I would have to if I wanted the answers. Anyway justa thought. Some people may be shy about posting and that way the info would just be there for them.

Thanks ladies

Hi there!

Our commission rate varies because we have different levels of discounts. I get a 50% discount on all orders so I make a 50% profit!

No, you do not have to carry stock...it is up to the consultant.

To stay active as a consultant, you have to place a $100 RETAIL order every quarter. That is BEFORE your discount. So, I have to place a $50 order every quarter to stay active.

I have a few consultants that are ONLY wholesale buyers for personal use...(none of them have ever had any troubles meeting our quota either)

This month we have a promotion going that is only $99 to join!

As far as classes go...do you mean spa parties? If you do about 2 spa parties a week (it's not manditory) you can make aprox. $1000 a month.

Let me know if you have any other questions, I'll post them here.

Thanks!

Ok, so if I join with the $99. what kind of discount will I get? Does it depend on the amount you are ordering at that time?

SaintLouisSpa
03-09-2006, 11:01 AM
Yes,here is the chart to go by (the dollar amounts are in RETAIL prices, so if you order $800 worth of product you'll pay $400 because you'll get 50% off)....
50% discount on orders of $800 or more, 45% discount on orders of $500 – $799.99, 40% discount on orders of $300 – $499.99, 30% discount on orders of $100 – $299.99, 25% discount on orders less than $100.
-OR- If you recruit 4 people you'll get a 50% discount on all orders any size, all the time!

No problem. You made a good point about posting answers on the board. After all, that's what it's here for.

Thanks!

I just wanted to add a note to our $99 special promotion! There is a new consultant special offer as well. This is a one time offer that is only goodfor 48 hours after sign up. You may purchase our pamper and profit set or customize your own order for $225 + tax and shipping! You can earn $275 if you sell these products or get your own personal discount of $275.

$99 is a savings of over $150 from the regular fee! Limited time only!

We love to share what we do!

I do use the PM because I give out my personal email, etc for interested ones to continue to contact me. Otherwise, I have no problem sharing on the board our awesome opportunity!

Have a beauti-ful day!

Also, when you go to BeautiU, you get a chance to get 50% off of a $500 or more purchase or 55% off of a purchase of a $1000. I did thelast one because first the 55% discount, second because they have the deferred payment, where you pay half at BeautiU training and the other half in 30 days.

It gives you time to make $ from the products you ordered to pay for the second half in 30 days. Just another note, you still have to pay taxes up front on the order and if you purchase any sales aids at that time, you have to pay for that up front as well. But paying $225 now and $225 later just makes it easier I thought. It doesn't hurt so bad. Plus, I made enough to pay for my second installment on orders I had.

You got 90 days to go to BeautiU I believe. So, also during that time you could build up orders to help you pay for products at BeautiU. They have it set up to buy in packages if you want to go that route as well. Plus, BeautiU is great for motivation and you learn so much more about the products and the company.

Good luck!!!!

At Leadership, I heard that the order opportunity at BeautiU will change. Consultants will have the opportunity to purchase only $1000 in retail at a 55% discount with is $450.

Consultant will still be able to order on Beautinet; but at the following discount chart that Jessica posted:
50% discount on orders of $800 or more, 45% discount on orders of $500 – $799.99, 40% discount on orders of $300 – $499.99, 30% discount on orders of $100 – $299.99, 25% discount on orders less than $100.
So, it is important to let new consultants know and understand about the order opportunity they have within the 48 hours. $225 within 48hrs on $500 in retail instead of $450 for $1000 in retail at BeautiU.
Have fun Spa-ing!!!

Don't forget several times a year BeautiControl gives us the opportunity to purchase $300. at 50% off instead of the $800. that is normally required for 50%. It is usually the first half of the month and requires a code word on the order form. Like this month the code word is "SANFRAN" and if you order this month you get 50% off any size ordernext month!!! that is a great deal for senior consultants and cims I think.A couple of the ladies that are signed up under me as just "friends and family" look for those opportunities and order 300. instead of the required 100. every qtr!!! smileys/smiley17.gifYeahhhhh for me!!! So I always make sure they know about the ordering opportunities from the unit meetings.

Itzy, what you heard about the BeautiU ordering opportunity is true and it went into effect on March 1.New consultants may still order any amount at BeautiU (they don't have to wait and order on Beautinet)at the discounts you mentioned but to get the 55% they must order $1000.

What is the hostess plan? Is it a company sponser plan or does the consultant pay for it?

SaintLouisSpa
03-14-2006, 08:44 AM
Each consultant has their own hostess plan. The company offersneathostess gifts at great prices for the consultants to purchase. I give product as a hostess gift. You can design your program however you want.

03-14-2006, 08:46 AM
The consultant pays for the hostess plan. We have the flexibility to choose our own or go with the company's. I personally do my own because it has gotten good results.
