For those of you who don't mind taking this survey,

I havea few questions,
Do you have life insurance and if so with which company?
Do you have term, whole life, universal life or a combination?

Would it strike you as unprofessional to know your insurance agent is also involved in selling products with a direct sales company.

Thanks. Edited by: lani7

Sales is sales in my book, whether it's cars, make up, real estate, insurance or party plan sales,so it wouldn't bother me in the least. I don't have a policy but my husband does through his work.

Both my Husband and I have life insurance policies. They are both term, and he also has one as a job benefit.

It wouldn't bother me if my insurance agent was selling direct sales. It really doesn't have anything to do with me what my agent is doing with their own time. I'm not sure I would want to be 'sold' when I came in to buy insurance, but as long as it was kept separate, that would work for me. Dana

You just want to know "everything" dont you! http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif So many questions, always wanting every personal little detail.

And NO, of course its not unprofessional for an Insurance agent to also sell for a Direct SalesCompany! http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif

Sales is sales! http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley38.gif

Maybe they are trying to GET OUT of the Insurance game altogether so they are building something else on the side! http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gifSomething that offers WAY more freedom than selling Insurance. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley8.gif

Hi Lani,

Sorry this took so long. Have been trying to ignore my computer. I bought from Northwestern Mutual from a friend's husband.

Thanks for sharing Dana. Pgelise, thanks girl for the welcome! Thanks for being so gracious, I really would've loved to have signed up under you. I'll visit in the PQ folder, not much to contribute right now though except I am really starting to love the products more. I had a launch party $1008, the people really loved the products. I knew my mom loved linens but I didn't know even my brother was into it, him and his wife had a hard time picking.

Thanks Redbird! I was wondering, do you know why your friend quit PQ? There's more presentation than a purse or jewelry. I don't know how much I'll pursue it but I love the products, aside from the commission I made, as you know host always gets free products so I got that too! I know I'm a bit crazy, I just joined 31 a few hrs ago under Phyllis and also Scentsy with someone local. I have to be careful that not every word that comes out of my mouth is Do you want to buy . I know when it's Christmas and people are shopping, it's nice to be able to give them websites where they can shop online. Also there are different markets. I'll just try it and see how it goes. With PQ, I'm seeing more of the market potential than I did in the beginning, I think what really finally motivated me to sign up was so I can get this featherbed for my daughter at a huge discount! But after showing the catalogs to my girlfriends and getting positive feedback and also the launch party results, I think I will continue to pursue it...but because of the ease of showing products and not not having to demonstrate..I think I'll have more fun selling at least for now 31 and Scentsy.
