Greetings,
I'm a bit confused. I thought this was a forum "For Botanical Swiss Skincare & Nutrition Reps". This is what is stated. Therefore, I assumed it would be a place to share with other Rbon reps or those interested in Rbon and NOT a place for others to promote their own interests. I don't know about you but I can see right through those who are just looking to attract potential consultants to join their venture. After all, their link is clearly and boldly flashing. Please promote elsewhere.

Hello skintips,
With just 4 posts under your WAHM belt, you may need to observe more and get the "feel" of the board in general. We are all a bunch of cooperative women, and it does not matter which company you may be with. We will, most likely never meet, have different circles of influence, etc. I welcome you all to the "Science Skincare" folder below! You do not have to be NS distributors to contribute.
BTW, WELCOME to WAHM!

I'm assuming that this post is directed at me...? If so, that is fine and you are welcome to pm me with your concerns. If it isn't me, I'd recomend you pm whoever it is that is bothering you. It's always better to approach them personally rather than publically and indirectly.
Either way, this folder has several functions. It is definitely for @ reps, @ clients and people interested in being a part of @. It is also a place whereothers comefor ideas in their own personal businesses. You will see a lot of comments and threads from FDD (for example) who is not with @. I don't believe anyone has ever taken her comments on this folder to be a recruiting project. She values a lot that @ has to offer and she has learned a lot from the @ folks on here. I personally have several folders that I frequent that have nothing to do with promoting my own venture...I learn a lot from the folders and the people there are encouraging.
If there is something that I have posted that you think is inappropriate (again, I am assuming this post is directed at me), please letme know and I will remove it. Someone talked to me a month ago saying that what I said came across in a wrong way - so I deleted it. I don't have any problems with that.
I have been on this folder for years and I think most on here know my intentions...to learn and grow and be helpful.
I'm so sorry if my flashy guy bothers you. I think he is really cute :D
Best to you!

FDD here from Mary Kay and no I'm not trolling for fresh pink blood. smileys/smiley2.gif
</font></font>I am a frequent visitor here as well as two other Boards (Lia Sophia and BeautiControl). I have been treated with graciousness and respect every time I have posted. Although our products are different , the skills and mindset we need to succeed in the direct sales business is the same for all of us. I have learned so much from all three of these Folders. I even visit their company and Leader websites for additional training and motivation.
Because we for the most part are women with an entrepreneurial spirit, some of us are in more than one company. Their signature lists all of their affiliations and no one ( I think?) views this as a back door selling or recruiting attempt.
</font></font>"skintips" now that you are armed w/ more information and perhaps some furthur reflection, you will hopefully realize that there isn't some kind of suspicious motive driving some to post here. There is already so much mistrust in the world. Let's let these folders be a place where we can unconditionally support each other- regardless of where our hard working, forward thinking, entrepreneurial spirits take us.smileys/smiley27.gif</font></font>

Just wanted to chime in as someone who comes by this board as well but is a rep for another company. I completely agree with the ladies above. This folder has always been one full of wonderful women who support each other & those in the community. I know first hand because I used to be an Rbon rep & spent many years & a lot of time in this folder. We've always welcomed anyone who wanted to come by as long as they were respectful & contributed to the folder in a positive way. Granted, I've been away for a couple of years but hope that hasn't changed.
This is a community full of women with the same basic goals. It really doesn't matter what company you are affiliated with in the end. We are all here to learn from one another.

skintips,
We did have problems a number of months ago with people coming onto our board being negative, however Cindi has always been helpful and positive. I believe she is actually the one who started this board!
I hope you will embrace the @ spirit and see her posting as she intended it (in my opinion) and not that she is trying to recruit others.
Just chiming in as a current @ consultant who has been on this board for awhile.
And good luck with your new venture! smileys/smiley1.gif

Actually, I think this was just an original folder Cheryl started with.Rbon was on the original WAHM.com boards before she switched to this format in 2005. But if memory serves correctly Cindi did request the name change once we couldn't use the actual name of the company anymore. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif
