View Full Version : Looking for work for my "terminal cancer" mom...

Hey guys,

The end of January, my mom was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I don't want to go into that here, but, she's doing amazingly well, and I honestly believe she is, and will continue to, beat it. God is good, and we continue to be amazed at how the cancer is healing and shrinking.

However, she has a job that, though she loves, she is starting to look at leaving. She is having some issues with the other employees, even though she loves the patients (she works in a nursing home.)

Anyway, she loves to do crafts, and, in fact, makes little home made necklaces for them while she is at home.

She is pretty good at her hands, and just wants something to do, especially if she can make some money to keep paying her insurance.

Any suggestions?

Prayers are appreciated.

Jeremy

Hi,

First of all, I hope that your mother is doing really well. If she is talented at craft making, and has lots of times, you might want to consider the home party idea, only doing it yourself. With her sickness, perhaps it could start with her inviting her friends to her house and getting sales and referrals from that.

I wish her the best.
