Have anyone started working for Convergys?

I'm interested in this question. If you have started working for Convergys at home... what type of insurance do they provide?

I have not started working for this company I have applied before, but I have not heard anything. Someone told me that they were hired, but the the project that were on was cancelled.

I almost took this job but PC ended up not meeting requirements blah..

There is a glitch in their application system and it kicked me out and denied me before I can even finish it and I dindnt like that at all.

Shouldn't let a glitch stop you. Might be something no one has reported.

My PC also doesn't meet specs, but I wanted some feedback from a current homeworker first before I invest in a new PC as I like mine fine just the way it is.

Man, I haven't heard from them either. That is really messed up. I had the experience working for other work at home jobs and I should have been on their front line. I think they called me one time in the past and said they were gonna call me back when I was able to work pt for them becuse I told them I already had a job (which I probably shouldn't have told them). I will try to apply again.smileys/smiley4.gif

I got an interview before the holiday weekend and was told I would be in the next training class in Mid July unless someone drops out between now and then.
I am EXCITED but wish it was closer to start as I am chomping at the bit to get back into a REAL online job.
I worked for the US Census for over 7 months...made some excellant money...butit did not last as long as we were lead to believe it would. Was totally disapointed when that came to an end way early!
Curious if anyone else is set up for the next training class???

I have worked for Convergys and NEW for dtv. dtv has very high expectations and is always busy so if you can handle irrate customers and b2b phone calls especially during the simultaneous hurricane/nfl/college football season I say go for it. Convergys has better benefits then NEW and NEW has changed their quality standards to almost rediculous unattainable levels.

Thanks for your post, chrisgilm; good to hear from someone with an insider's view. I'm sure it will be of great help. As for other resources, have any of you tried Answer 1, Aro or Verety, just to name a few?

I contacted the Gentleman who initially interviewed me about 3 wks ago, again today after reading all of these comments, just to make sure I was still on the "GO TO" list.
He said that the training was still on for mid summer...sure wish there was a more definitive date!http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gifAm doing whatever it takes to keep money coming in until then so bills dont get too out of hand.
Keeping my fingers crossed everything lines up and this gets up and running sooner than later! I have read nothing but GOOD things about Convergys...that they are one of the BEST online companies to work for as far as benefits, etc.
I would really like to get working and build up some tenure in a good online company who values their employees!
