Hi ladies, My host for tomorrow night (she's 12 and this is her 2nd birthday party fundraiser spa she's done with me) called me tonight and said that a few people had to cancel today and that a few more has called to RSVP so she's now expecting 35 moms and daughters for facials tomorrow night. Her last spa was 24 guests... I'm going to have to pull out my new insulated Sensaria beach tote just to hold all the heated washcloths.http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif I called one of my local downline that is consistent but wants more and asked her to come help and split the spas booked. Here's to hoping she's available,lol!

Thanks ladies but the real credit goes to my pre-teen hostess. She is motivated to raise a lot of money and invited a ton of friends and their moms. I think it just goes as a reminder to not discount anyone. And knowing that she raises money each year, I contacted her early to see if I could be of service to her again this year. There are lots of great groups to support through your spa business. Relay for Life, Autism Walks, etc. Find a charity that excites you and then look for like minded ladies that want to partner with you for their own fundraiser spa.
I am proud of Anna for wanting to raise money for a charity that helps the children in the Chernobyl (sp??) area and their famiy sponsors a boy names Sasha every year to come to the US for a respite time for her birthday. A neat girl I wouldn't mind having join my team when she turns 18.
I am trying to figure out the logistics of such a large spa for tonight. I made up a quick combo customer care form/ wishlist page so I wouldn't have multiple papers flying around for everyone and I could concentrate more ontheir wants/ needs at checkout. Making those personal connections can get more difficult at larger spas. I also told the hostess that I would give an extra $10 to her charity for each spa booked and held. Ready for a big, crazy but fun night. I'll let you know how it went when it's all over.

Well then congrats to your pre teen hostess!

Last night was fun. All the girls had fun and the mom's were so appreciative of someone else teaching their daughter about skin care and what true beauty is. (Several of the mom said they are starting to get eye rolling whenever they try to tell them something.) Sold a few body care items but mostly it was skin care sets as that was our focus. We haven't closed out the spa as the host and her mom wanted to contact a few of the ladies that hadn't gotten to come to the spa about skin care orders before we close on Friday. As I expected it was harder to connet with each guest with so many there but those I did placed bigger orders as you'd expect.
Well, my May schedule is over and June is looking good. Keep up the great work everyone!
